From Fiona Haynes, your Guide to Low Fat Cooking
Weekends were made for leisurely breakfasts. After the hustle and bustle of a busy week, it's nice to take time to make something special instead of making do with a quick bowl of cold cereal, or worse, grabbing a sugary doughnut.

Belgian Waffles

Thses light and fluffy waffles are especially delicious topped with a sprinkling of powdered sugar and topped with fresh berries.

Baked Blueberry French Toast
Whole grain bread and liquid egg substitute make this blueberry-filled baked French toast a healthier breakfast treat. Enjoy with a drizzle of good-quality maple syrup.

Banana Pancakes
Banana pancakes are my absolute favorite kind of pancakes. While these are indeed low fat, don't ruin it by topping them with whipped cream or butter as many restaurant chains do. A little warmed syrup and some extra slices of banana are all that's needed for a wholesome, hearty breakfast.

Turkey Apple Patties
Avoid fat- and calorie-laden fast-food breakfast sandwiches and make your own sandwich featuring a whole grain English muffin, a scrambled egg (or the equivalent egg substitute), and these tasty, low-fat turkey apple patties.
