In the coming years, Germany will drift away from its integrationist ideals in Europe and become more Eurosceptic in general, a Stratfor analysis report said.
The German political shift would also change the country’s foreign policy priorities, making Berlin more distant from the United States and closer to Russia and its fluid energy market, the US intelligence company said.
The change would happen as a result of conservative and Christian political parties gaining more votes caused by the increased refugee influx and the ongoing economic crisis. In addition, during the Greek debt crisis, Merkel didn’t act tough enough towards Greece, infuriating a number of conservative politicians in the German parliament, Stratfor said.
“This view would keep several Central and Eastern European nations from entering the Eurozone… Moreover, because crises in the Eurozone periphery are far from over, the possibility of Greece and others leaving the euro cannot be ruled out,” the Stratfor report said.
Small changes will likely start happening in 2016, but a significant political transition of the EU’s main powerhouse will definitely be felt after the German election in 2017.
According to Stratfor, Germany will probably support Britain’s request to protect the interests of non-Eurozone countries, keep the EU budget under control and limit refugees’ access to welfare benefits.
At the same time, Germany will resist France’s current attempts to push for stronger financial integration within the Eurozone and re-structure mechanisms for fiscal transfers from wealthier Northern European countries to their poorer neighbors in the south, the Stratfor report predicted.
The Franco-German disagreement, however, won’t last long, because France itself will face a general election of its own in 2017. France will probably become more Eurosceptic as well after the election, as the two main parties to succeed in it are projected to be the center-right Republicans party and the vehemently anti-EU right wing Front National party.

Patriarch Moran Mor Bechara Boutros al-Rahi is a Catholic Cardinal and head of the Maronite Church in Antioch, Lebanon.
Patriarch Moran Mor Bechara Boutros al-Rahi spoke out against the persecution of Christians by ISIS in 2014.
In a recent interview Cardinal Boutros al-Rahi warned that Muslims would conquer Europe by their faith in Islam and their procreation numbers.

In a stunning interview, the Maronite patriarch of Antioch, Cardinal Bechara Boutros al-Rahi, has contended that Islam has a clear, two-pronged strategy to take over Europe: religion and procreation.
The cardinal said that Muslims look on Christians as weak and believe that since they have no children and barely practice their faith, Islam will easily conquer them. Sadly, he said, Muslims take their faith more seriously than most Christians, and they are gaining ground because of it.
“I have often heard from Muslims that their goal is to conquer Europe with two weapons: their faith and their birthrate,” al-Rahi said in a recent interview with Famiglia Cristiana, an Italian Catholic weekly magazine.
For the Muslims, the Cardinal said, “the practice of the faith is essential and fundamental. In Saudi Arabia they go to Friday prayers even if they need a walking stick. They know the Koran by heart, and when they talk they often cite it. The same is not true for Christians who do not refer either to the Bible or the teachings of the Church.”
The Muslims “believe that God’s will is to procreate and that marriage is aimed at this,” he said. “They think that numbers will give them the upper hand.”
Christians, however, “hardly get married anymore, and have few children,” he said.
The Cardinal also said that Muslims “identify anything that comes from the West as Christian per se. All Western politics is Christian politics, it is a new crusade. They say that Christians are the remains of the Crusades and of Western imperialism,” he said.

The new blood-chilling video showing the execution of children by ISIS Islamists has shocked the whole world.
It is assumed that the children on the video were captives of the Islamic State terrorist organization.
According to mirror.co.uk, the video was obtained from the rebel army that fight against Islamists in Yemen.
In the video, one can see children bound and forced to lie face down as they await mass execution. The militants then open automatic fire on the children.
Specialists are now working to establish the origin of the video.
Not that long ago, ISIS terrorists executed 12 teenagers for their attempt to escape from a training camp in Mosul, Iraq.

French police have used teargas and water cannon on migrants during clashes in the infamous Jungle refugee camp in French port of Calais on Tuesday night. Tensions on previous nights led to dozens of injured officers.
“Two hundred and fifty police officers, of which the majority were CRS [riot police], were mobilized Tuesday” to end the disturbances around the migrant camp, said Interior Ministry spokesman Pierre-Henry Brandet, as cited by AFP.
The most violent clashes took place on Sunday night. At least 26 officers were injured in stand-off with refugees who were throwing rocks at them, Gilles Debove, from the Calais branch of the SGP Police-Force Ouvrière union told the Local.
“This is the first time that it has been so violent and that we’ve had so many injured colleagues, unfortunately,” he said. “The problem is you can’t predict what will happen here. We work from day to day.”
AP, however, said that 27 officers were injured in clashes, with 11 on early Tuesday. France TV reported 28 injured police.
According to aid workers and volunteers at the camp, police fired tear gas at refugees who were throwing rocks at them.
“Police came into the camp, halfway up the main drag, and fired tear gas right into the camp,” Rowan Farrell, a volunteer from Manchester, England, told AP. “There’s more and more desperation in the camp coming to a climax.”
Clashes continued on Monday night between police and migrants. Local authorities were closing and opening the access to the port during the night for several times.
Around 250 migrants “repeatedly tried to slow down traffic at the port ring road by placing different objects in the road,” a spokesperson for the police told AFP. “Police had to push the migrants back from the ring road several times.”
On Tuesday morning about 200-250 migrants surged onto the Port ring road to try to block it. Some of the refugees were seen throwing rocks at police officers.
“What’s happening is indefensible,” Jean-Marc Puissesseau, president of the Calais Port told France TV, adding that some trucks “were attacked with iron bars.”
“We are no longer dealing with nice migrants, but with troublemakers… Attacks against road users cannot be tolerated, because these are our clients…If this degenerates to guerrilla warfare, the reputation and turnover of the port of Calais will be hit,” he added.
Many local people in Calais say they are not comfortable living in such a neighborhood. About 4,500-6,000 migrants are currently living in Jungle temporary camp for refugees in Calais.
“We no longer feel at home – we live with our windows and shutters closed. We cannot even go into the garden with our children,” local resident Sandy told AFP.
One more resident described to France TV the atmosphere of the recent nights filled with clashes.
“We heard a big boom. We were awakened by the noise. My kid started to cry. Then we …saw all the flashing lights….. They [migrants] began to throw stones that landed in my yard, my house. It was war! ”
According to head of the Pas-de-Calais region Fabienne Buccio told a press conference, the migrants whose desired destination is the UK “often entered the property of local residents to obtain objects that can be used to block the trucks on the ring road” leading to the port.
Calais is a popular destination for migrants who want to try their luck at illegally entering England via the Eurotunnel. More than a dozen migrants have been killed near the tunnel since June while trying to cross the border.
The influx of refugees has been blamed on higher security measures that are making it more difficult for migrants to cross the English Channel and enter the UK. Most of the people living at the camp say they have fled conflicts in the Middle East or Africa.

“White privilege” now counts for so much that the president of the University of Missouri was forced to resign for little more than being white.
President Tim Wolfe made the announcement today after a baying mob demanded that he acknowledge his “white privilege” in the aftermath of less than a handful of alleged racist incidents that occurred at the university over the last few months.
Wolfe himself made no racist comments, nor did he perform any racist actions. His crime was refusing to kowtow to the Maoist-style intimidation tactics of the ideological lynch mob.
Back in September, a white student yelled a racial slur at the university’s student body president. Another drunk white student yelled derogatory slurs at a black student organization, then someone drew a swastika on the bathroom wall using feces.
This led to the University’s football team threatening to boycott matches until Wolfe was removed from his position.
As Ben Shapiro writes, Wolf was ousted for refusing to acknowledge his white male privilege, “a privilege that apparently includes being fired for no reason because of the color of his skin and his sex; and that the school hire more black teachers, based solely on the color of their skin.”
A New York Post report confirmed that Wolfe stepped down after the students, “Demanded, among other things, that Wolfe “acknowledge his white male privilege,” that he is immediately removed, and that the school adopt a mandatory racial awareness program and hire more black faculty and staff.”
This, despite the fact that the university’s undergraduate population is 79% white and 8% black – almost in line with the state population which is 83% white and nearly 12% black.
To further illustrate their complete intolerance for free speech or any violation of their precious “safe space,” students are also now forming human shields to try and prevent the press from reporting on the story.
Wolfe stepped down just days after a Maoist-style mob confronted Nicholas Christakis, the Master of Silliman College at Yale, demanding his resignation for his refusal to acknowledge that “offensive” Halloween costumes were an issue. Christakis had complained that campuses were becoming places of “censure and prohibition”.
Last week, undercover footage also showed administrators at Yale, Cornell, Syracuse, Vassar and Oberlin agreeing to rip up a copy of the constitution because it “triggered” Project Veritas investigators who were posing as students.
As criminology professor Mike Adams explains, the stifling environment now taking hold at universities across America is a flagrant example of how political correctness is destroying the very reason why universities exist in the first place.
“I need to address an issue that is causing problems here at UNCW and in higher education all across the country,” said Adams. “I am talking about the growing minority of students who believe they have a right to be free from being offended. If we don’t reverse this dangerous trend in our society there will soon be a majority of young people who will need to walk around in plastic bubble suits to protect them in the event that they come into contact with a dissenting viewpoint. That mentality is unworthy of an American. It’s hardly worthy of a Frenchman.”
“Let’s get something straight right now. You have no right to be unoffended. You have a right to be offended with regularity. It is the price you pay for living in a free society. If you don’t understand that you are confused and dangerously so. In part, I blame your high school teachers for failing to teach you basic civics before you got your diploma. Most of you went to the public high schools, which are a disaster. Don’t tell me that offended you. I went to a public high school.”
