Così i paesi cosiddetti BRICS esplodono. Il Brasile aveva un tasso di crescita del PIL del 9.3 ad inizio 2010, da allora sempre tassi decrescenti sino al picco più basso, un modesto 0.5% nel Q2 del 2012. I fattori macroeconomici spiegano forse solo in parte la protesta odierna, che si configura proprio come una crisi dalle prospettive crescenti.
