Kurdish Activist Sentenced to 11 Years in Prison

October 26 -- Mohammad Sedigh Kabudvand, founder of the Kurdistan Human Rights Organization, has been sentenced to more than a decade in jail. His lawyer tells Radio Farda: "I have never seen such a heavy sentence handed out to a human rights defender."
