Azerbaijan Probes Ex-President's Death
The Azerbaijani prosecutor-general's spokesman has said that a probe was launched into the alleged poisoning of the country's late president, Abulfaz Elcibey. More Ramzan Kadyrov has become the first North Caucasus republic head to comment publicly on Krasnodar Krai Governor Aleksandr Tkachev's controversial pronouncements regarding unchecked migration and ethnic tensions on his turf and the planned deployment of Cossack police units to help counter the perceived threat to public order posed by illegal immigrants from elsewhere in the North Caucasus.
