20 Syrian soldiers executed in Aleppo : GRAPHIC VIDEO -  
Two amateur videos were posted on YouTube on Monday showing what appear to be images of 20 dead Syrian soldiers, blindfolded and handcuffed. They were reportedly executed by rebel fighters in the northern city of Aleppo. 


Syrian rebels admit worst mass killing of the uprising:  A rebel brigade in Aleppo admitted responsibility on Monday for the worst mass killings by Syrian opposition forces since the uprising began, even as the United Nations human rights chief accused them of "murder, extra-judicial execution and torture". 



Syria's rebel fighters vow no mercy for their own pro-regime family members:  Free Syrian Army fighters told the Monitor that bringing down President Assad trumps family ties, and that they are willing to fight, or even kill, brothers and cousins fighting for the regime.

Yemen says 13 killed in blast targeting defence minister, who's unharmed:  The security officials say the blast hit the minister's convoy Tuesday as he was travelling through the capital to attend a Cabinet meeting. 



Qaeda claims Iraq carnage that killed 88, hurt over 400:  Al Qaeda front organisation the Islamic State of Iraq posted a claim on the Internet on Monday for a wave of more than 30 attacks around the country that killed more than 88 people. 



Turkey: Police officer killed in Istanbul suicide bombing:  Seven people, including four police officers and three civilians, were also injured in the bombing at the 75th Year Police Station. The injured were taken to nearby hospitals in critical condition, reports said. 



Palestinian Authority decreases fuel prices to calm protests:  The decision comes after a week of protests in the occupied West Bank, which turned violent on Monday, as thousands of demonstrators frustrated by the economic crisis smashed a municipal building's windows and threw stones at policemen, leaving dozens injured.
