It would be actually cheaper for everybody, for the same Greece too, to freeze the Greece position inside the EU and euro until the full reimbursement of its external debt!

Greece is in trouble. Talks between the country and its international creditors broke down even further Monday, plunging the nation deeper into crisis. [HuffPost]

The nation’s fate may be left to a referendum vote. Greece’s left-wing government said it would hold a referendum on July 5. This essentially would allow voters to decide whether or not the country should leave the Eurozone entirely. [NYT]

Paul Krugman is urging Greeks to vote “no.” In a blog post published Sunday evening, the Nobel Prize-winning economist argued that Greece leaving the Eurozone wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world. [NYT]
