Great news! A provision ending the federal prohibition on medical marijuana, banning federal agents from policing its users or raiding dispensaries in any state or district where it is legal, was just passed by Congress. The provision can be found in Congress’ new 1,603-page spending plan. Mainstream media may be quiet about this latest news, but you can guarantee the little passage will radically alter the way America treats – and views – the use of medical marijuana. Recently I was privileged to watch a presentation by Graham Hancock, author of the newly released and certain best seller Magicians of the Gods: The Forgotten Wisdom of Earth’s Lost Civilization.
Graham Hancock is continuing the rogue archeological tradition of Chariots of the Gods by Erik von Daniken and more recently the Ancient Aliens series on the History Channel, but this very sober presentation has profound implications. First it takes on conventional historical “fact” and turns it on its head by addressing the newly discovered astrophysical and geological findings that a cataclysmic extinction event – presumably a strike by a comet similar to what wiped out the dinosaurs – also happened between 11-12,000 years ago, with the date probably being narrowed down to around 11,800 years. Imagine a commercial plane crashed and there were some fatalities involved. You can be sure that would make the headline of every major newspaper.
Well, we have the equivalent of 8-10 planes crashing EVERY DAY with everyone on board dying from cancer. Nearly two million Americans are diagnosed with cancer every year — one person out of three will be hit with a cancer diagnosis at some time in their lives, in spite of the massive technological advances over the past half-century.
