Afghan-Pakistani Team Probes Shelling
Afghan officials say a deal has been struck with Pakistan to investigate a recent surge in cross-border attacks that has raised tensions between the two neighbors. More Many Afghans are angry about attempts by provincial officials to change the name of a street in Mazar-i Sharif to honor a group of Iranian diplomats killed there 14 years ago. The move threatens to cause upheaval at a time when Afghan forces are being groomed to take over security.
