We wish you a Shana Tova - a happy, healthy and meaningful New Year - may you be inscribed and sealed in the book of life.As the festival of Succot approaches, we at Arutz Sheva have again undertaken to provide the funds to purchase Succot for Ethiopian Jewish families here in Israel.
For many of these families it will be G-d willing the first time that they will be able to build and inhabit their own Succah, and to dwell in it for the week of Succot as we are commanded to do.
The ability to fulfill this mitzvah in Eretz Yisrael has been a dream of so many across the generations, often more out of hope than expectation.
Each Succah costs six hundred and forty seven shekels (one hundred and seventy eight dollars).
