CoinDesk was last able to retrieve data from the site’s API at 05:44 UTC this morning, with a Reddit user noting the issue at around 07:00. A message on the site’s homepage states it will "back shortly".

The Connecticut Technology Council has partnered with blockchain startup Tierion for a government-funded survey that finds it using bitcoin for recordkeeping. Though not integral to the project, Tierion indicated that it used its role in the survey to highlight the benefits of blockchain technology to the state.

The controversial group behind several bitcoin 'stress tests' has confirmed next week it will push ahead with its biggest so far. Speaking to CoinDesk, CoinWallet COO James Wilson said the test – which could allegedly cause a 30-day backlog of transactions – would be executed at 10am Thursday (GMT).
