China Has World's Fastest Computers Again
China's reign as the nation with the fastest computers in the world continues. The nation's Tianhe-2 supercomputer topped the latest TOP500 list, its sixth consecutive time in the No. 1 slot, according to a release by TOP500.org. The US still has the most supercomputers on the list with 200 HPC systems, but that's down from 231 in July. It's also the fewest US supercomputers since the list began in 1993.
