We all have heard the official story about how Christopher Columbus discovered America merely by mistake. But giving it some thought, I wonder if there is another side to the story.

Considering the fact that celestial navigation was an ancient science known and used to navigate on the sea, what would be the chances of the "Admiral of the Ocean Sea" chosen by the Spanish Crown for the treasure hunting voyage, getting lost and sailing in the wrong direction?

It seems like the chances are rather slim. Would it be too far of a stretch to suggest that Columbus sailed according to the maps held in his possession which could either be originals or copied from originals made by ancient people who knew the globe?

Before dismissing this as a possibility lets contemplate a few facts:

BBC Foreknowledge of 9/11 Collapse of WTC Building Seven
by Conspiracy Club

Tony Rooke refused to pay a TV license fee because the BBC intentionally misrepresented facts about the 9/11 attacks, he alleged.

It is widely known that the BBC reported the collapse of World Trade Center Building 7 over 20 minutes before it occurred. WTC 7 was a 47-story skyscraper that was not hit by a plane on 9/11 but collapsed at free-fall speed later that day.

In this article, Mike Zappy transcribes the contents of a talk on cannabis and how it's going to change 'life as we know it' that he had intended to deliver at a Tedx event in Boca Raton.

The text was approved by the organizers and Zappy was scheduled into the event but a few days later he received an email from the same organizers cancelling his talk. They said that 'Boca Raton was not ready for a talk about cannabis'.

Zappy wants to take a stand against what he believes is the hypocrisy of Tedx, an event that is supposed to break barriers, and is publishing his talk in full here.

Our culture's current approach to death is undergoing a much needed transformation; this is mainly due to a large increase in research regarding the experiences people have surrounding death.

The research is still limited the results that have been collected are interesting, to say the least.

The increase of scientific research has lead to many improvements of how we approach and deal with death as a culture.

However, there is still a lot of room for improvement. There is a frightening epidemic in our society of people living as if they are never going to die, most people don't even think about it.
