NASA's Valkyrie humanoid robot didn't perform well at the DARPA Robotics Challenge, but the failure didn't mean the end of the Valkyrie program. NASA is in this for the long game, and so is Valkyrie. And where does the long game end? Mars, and beyond.IEEE Spectrum got a chance to speak with the Valkyrie team about the future of the robot, as well as NASA's newly announced Space Robotics Challenge, which will feature a virtual competition using robotic simulations followed by a physical competition using NASA-provided Valkyrie robots.

This white paper highlights many important benefits to incorporating multiphysics simulation in your product design workflow such as innovation with reduced risk and shorter time to market. You can learn how multiphysics simulation can improve your workflow and benefit from the experience of COMSOL Multiphysics software users including Toyota, Sharp, Miele, and Fiat.
In this white paper, learn how in-house 3D printing capabilities provide a range of operational and business benefits that translate into real bottom line advantages.
This paper highlights these verification challenges by discussing the results of a 2.2 GHz PLL LC-VCO, a 12-bit pipeline ADC, and an ultra-wideband transceiver.
