These photographs appear to show a spectacular underwater world. Twelve meters of water covers trees, footpaths, benches and bridges that are only accessible at certain times of the year.

During the winter Green Lake in Tragoess, Austria, is normally only one meter deep and visitors can stroll through the park next to the picturesque lagoon.

However, at certain times of the year snowmelt from the nearby Karst mountains floods the lake and everything surrounding it.

At this point an extra 12 metres of water, which is crystal clear and with a temeprature of seven degree celsius, helps to double the size of Green Lake from 2,000 square metres to 4,000.

Marc Henauer, from Perly, Switzerland, and his wife traveled with their scuba diving gear to explore the flooded park. The 39-year-old said: “When I was underwater, it felt like I was swimming in a magical world, it was so beautiful. “Swimming over the green grass, flowers, paths, rocks and trees was like being in a fairy tale.”We were lucky that the sun created fantastic light rays through the water.

Chinese State Councilor Yang Jiechi on Thursday voiced serious concern over Japan’s passage of bills that will expand the role of Japan’s self-defense forces.
Japan’s ruling coalition passed the bill amid strong public opposition, marking the most significant overturn of the nation’s ‘purely defensive’ military posture.
On Thursday, hundreds of protesters outside the building chanted anti-war and anti-Abe slogans during the debate and vote, some holding banners reading, “No to war legislation!”
The bills, which are considered in violation of the country’s war-renouncing Constitution by about 90% of constitutional experts in Japan, will allow Japan’s Self-Defense Forces (SDF) to engage in armed conflicts overseas and help defend others even if Japan is not attacked.
Chinese State Councilor Yang Jiechi urged the Japanese side to earnestly draw lessons from history, stick to the route of peaceful development, respecting the major security concerns of its neighbors and work to maintain regional peace and stability.
“(This move) cannot but raise concern and questions from neighboring countries and the rest of the international community on whether Japan will abolish its pacifist posture,” Yang said.
He pointed out that Japan is going against the general tendency of the world by accelerating the build-up of its military muscles, as other states are seeking peace and working towards development.
“The adoption by the lower house of Japan’s parliament on a new bill on expansion of the Self-Defense Forces is an unprecedented event since the end of the war, which could possibly lead to serious policy changes in Japan’s military security,” media reported Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Hua Chunying as saying.
This year marks the 70th anniversary of the victory of Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascists War.
“At a time when people are remembering history and hoping for peace, we solemnly urge Japan to draw lessons from history and stick to the path of peaceful development,” Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying said.

Grace Wain, 14 not allowed to fly because she is “too white”.
A very popular free newspaper in the UK recently ran the headline “Girl is banned from flight because she’s too ginger”. If the headline wasn’t contemptuous enough it’s opening sentence certainly was! It said:
“Gingers have it bad enough already without having to worry if they are let on a flight because of the colour of their hair.”
Now the thing is, having read over this article (and investigating the original article it was sourced from) it turns out that Grace Wain’s hair colour had nothing at all to do with her being “banned” from a flight, it was in actual fact her skin colour; those working on the airline were worried she had a “pale appearance” (too white) and thus “unwell” in some way.
So what do we get out of this article and it’s sensationalist headline? Not too much really, apart from the fact the very White skin colour looks unhealthy and a hair colour that is more or less an exclusive Northern European trait is in some way wrong, bad and might get you “banned”. It’s Just more anti-White hate, wrapped up as a “funny” little story.
Now, what’s particularly interesting about this article is the author who goes by the name of Jimmy Nsubuga.
Is Jimmy the future of Europe? Leftist traitors certainly seem to think he is, otherwise Mr Nsubuga wouldn’t be sitting in Europe today writing snide articles for a European publication that disparages a European phenotype and getting away with it!
Would a European get away with writing a comparable headline in a Nigerian newspaper? Nope, because any sane Black man over there would quickly call out their media for being anti-Black.

Pluto’s moon Charon
The US space agency has revealed an image of Pluto’s largest moon Charon which has a vast dark area on its north pole. The enigmatic zone was immediately dubbed by Tolkien-inspired scientists as ‘Mordor’.
“In Charon’s north polar region, a dark marking prominent in New Horizons’ approach images is now seen to have a diffuse boundary, suggesting it is a thin deposit of dark material,” NASA said in its press release.
Cathy Olkin, one of the mission’s top planetary scientists, was not that official at the Wednesday press conference that revealed the historic image.
“You see the darkish area that is at the north pole. Informally we have been referring to that as Mordor,” she said to everyone’s delight.
The ‘Mordor’ photo was taken by NASA’s New Horizons spacecraft on July 13 from a distance of about 466,000 kilometers.
The image also shows “a swath of cliffs and troughs” which stretch about 1,000 kilometers from left to right of Pluto’s largest moon. The scientists believe that “widespread fracturing of Charon’s crust [is] likely a result of internal processes.”
A canyon at upper right of Charon that can be estimated to be 7 to 9 kilometers deep can be clearly seen in the picture.
The scientists are surprised by the apparent lack of craters on Charon.
“South of the moon’s equator, at the bottom of this image, terrain is lit by the slanting rays of the sun, creating shadows that make it easier to distinguish topography. Even here, however, relatively few craters are visible, indicating a relatively young surface that has been reshaped by geologic activity.”
Discovered in 1978 Charon was named after the ferryman of the dead in Greek mythology. Its diameter is 1,208 km, just about a half of Pluto’s.
Charon’s images were taken along with the dwarf planet, as well as its four smaller moons: Nix, Hydra, Styx and Kerberos.
New Horizons spacecraft travelled more than nine years to reach Pluto after it was launched from Cape Canaveral on January, 19, 2006. It covered the distance of more than three billion miles to reach the dwarf planet and its moons which lie on the outskirts of our solar system, but as the spacecraft has no breaking mechanism it will continue its way into the Kuiper belt.

The US has offered to increase military aid to Israel by another $1.5 billion per year to ease tensions over the nuclear deal with Iran, media has reported. Defense Secretary Ash Carter is expected to make the offer during next week’s visit to Tel Aviv.
The proposed increase would see Israel getting an additional squadron of F-35 fighter jets, funding for research and development of missile defense systems, and ammunition to replenish the stocks used in last year’s bombing of Gaza, Israeli sources told Jerusalem Post.
Under the current arrangement, Israel is receiving $3 billion a year, most of which is used to purchase US military hardware such as fighter jets and missile defense systems. Israeli and US officials have been discussing increasing the amount of aid to anywhere between $4.2 and $4.5 billion per year, sources familiar with the talks told the New York Times.
The new arrangement would go into effect in 2018 and last for a decade. Secretary Carter is expected to present the offer to his Israeli counterpart and good friend Moshe Ya’alon, Israeli sources said.
Netanyahu is reportedly reluctant to discuss US aid “at this juncture,” since that would mean giving tacit approval to the agreement the US and five other countries reached with Iran earlier this week.
The Israeli PM called the deal a “historic mistake” and may be hoping that the US Congress will refuse to endorse it before it goes into effect.
Iran and the “P5+1” group – including five permanent UN Security Council members and Germany – signed an agreement on Tuesday to curtail Iranian atomic research over the next 15 years in exchange for lifting nuclear-related sanctions and embargoes.
Israel has already negotiated the purchase of two F-35 squadrons, totaling 33 jets. The first delivery is scheduled for 2016. Much of the rumored increase in US aid may be in the form of additional F-35s, notorious for cost overruns and plagued by performance problems.
According to the Jerusalem Post, the Israeli Air Force is expected to hold a number of exercises with US and European countries for the first time in six years. They will be aimed at “dealing with long-range missile attacks and flights to distant countries.”
However, the paper’s sources noted the US would likely require assurances from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that Israel would not launch any military operations without first informing Washington.
Meanwhile, Isaac Herzog, leader of the Israeli parliamentary opposition, said Tuesday that he would soon be traveling to the US to “advance a package of security measures to suit the new situation,” according to the New York Times.
Netanyahu won a fourth term as PM in a closely contested election in March, defeating Herzog’s Zionist Union coalition. Sources close to his Likud party have accused the Obama administration of funneling money and advice to Herzog in order to defeat Netanyahu, whose relations with US President Barack Obama have been chilly for years.
