Metaphysical author, speaker and past life regression hypnotherapist Dolores Cannon passed away this morning from unknown causes at the age of 83.
The news was posted in a message on Dolores' Facebook page: "It is with a heavy heart that we let you know Dolores passed away this morning. To this end she was the Dolores that we all know and love and we want you all to know that she appreciated very much the loving energy and prayers you sent her way these last few weeks. She was with all of her family this morning and left surrounded by their and your love. Her heart will remain connected to us all." I am sure many of our readers are fans of The Lord of the Rings and Tolkien, which means that you would have heard of the Hobbits, a race of dwarf humanoids playing a major role in the events of these books.
Well ‘Homo floresiensis’, otherwise called ‘Hobbit’, is considered to be a dwarf-like human species with a height of around 1 metre and small brains that co-existed with us until about 12,000 years ago, when they disappeared. It may not be the same Hobbits as the ones of Tolkien, but they have many similarities. There are three different theories as to the origins of that species. One theory suggests that it was a group of humans that had a disease that restricted their size, while another theory supports that Hobbits evolved from an ape like creature in Africa millions of years ago. The Temples of Humankind are a collection of subterranean temples buried 100 ft underground built by the Federation of Damanhur. They are decorated in several motifs stressing peaceful human collaboration.
The Temples are located in the foothills of the Alps in northern Italy, 30 miles from Turin, in the valley of Valchiusella. The temples were created under the direction of Oberto Airaudi who, having claimed visions of ancient temples at age 10 from a previous life, began excavation and building in August 1978. By 1991 most of the chambers were reportedly complete when Italian police, acting on a tip from villagers, conducted a raid on the Temples.
