The Macuxi Indians knew about the existence of the Hollow Earth nearly one hundred years ago. But are their legends true or are they another incredible story of folklore?
What if Jules Verne’s classic “Journey to the Center of the Earth” is actually true? And somewhere down there, an entire new world is waiting to be explored, a place where somehow, living beings inhabit the depths of our planet, a place that ancient cultures and civilizations knew existed, or still exists today. Throughout humanity’s history, we’ve had several of our beliefs shattered through scientific discoveries.
First, our realities were shattered when an ancient philosopher, Pythagoras, asserted that our world is not flat, but rather a sphere. In the 16th century, another widely held belief was destroyed that our planet is not at the center of the universe. Although when these ideas were first presented they were widely rejected, they later became a commonly held belief. Similarly, those who brought forward the theory that intelligent extraterrestrial life exists, have been met with unhealthy skepticism and have even being outright rejected. But as our knowledge of the universe increases, it seems like the most likely next major paradigm-shift that will alter our realities, will be the proof of life beyond Earth.
