ARTICLE 19 has filed a third-party intervention in Tamiz v the United Kingdom. The applicant in this case complains that the UK is in breach of Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights, to protect his right to reputation, since defamatory allegations had been published for a period of three and a half months on a website hosted by Google. Syria: Help free human rights defender Razan Zaitouneh on her birthday

On 29 April, human rights groups worldwide marked the birthday of Syrian human rights defender Razan Zaitouneh, who spent the day in detention for the third time, along with her three colleagues, husband Wael Hamada, Samira Khalil and Nazem Hamadi.
