Letting the Bush tax cuts expire would amount to a 10-month pay freeze for the wealthiest Americans. Compared to the decade-long pay freeze suffered by the middle class, Michael Ettlinger writes that it would hardly seem like a great imposition to ask the wealthy to pay a bit more as part of achieving vitally needed deficit reduction.
