If a visitor to Venezuela is unfortunate enough to pay for anything with a foreign credit card, the eye-watering cost might suggest they were in a city pricier than Tokyo or Zurich.
A hamburger sold for 1,700 Venezuelan bolivares is $170, or a 69,000-bolivar hotel room is $6,900 a night, based on the official rate of 10 bolivares for $1.
But of course no merchant is pricing at the official rate imposed under currency controls. It’s the black market rate of 1,000 bolivares per dollar that’s applied.
But for Venezuelans paid in hyperinflation-hit bolivares, and living in an economy relying on mostly imported goods or raw materials, conditions are unthinkably expensive.

Donald Trump gained 11 points on Hillary Clinton since March and now leads Crooked Hillary by 2 points 46-44 even in polls held by biased leftist media such as ABC News and Washington Post.
ABC reported:
A new ABC News/Washington Post poll shows a close contest in presidential election preferences, with Republicans lining up behind Donald Trump as their party’s presumptive nominee while the continued Democratic race is keeping Hillary Clinton’s side more unsettled.
Greater voter registration among Republicans is one factor: Clinton’s 6-point lead among all adults, 48-42 percent in a general election matchup, switches to essentially a dead heat among registered voters, 46 percent for Trump, 44 percent for Clinton. Regardless, the contest has tightened considerably since March, when Clinton led among registered voters by 9 points.
From the poll Trump leads:
Men: Trump 56-34%
Independents: Trump 48-35%
No degree: Trump 52-38%
Whites: Trump 57-33%
Hillary lost 13 points with independents in one month.
Please note that both ABC News and the Washington Post are extremely anti-Trump, anti-Republican leftist socialists and strong supporters of communist Mao-wannabe Hillary Clinton and Crazy Bernie Sanders the Stalin-wannabe nutcase who wanna transform America in Venezuela Version 2.0, and basically the entire (Now Socialist) Democratic Party. So this means that Trump is 100% truly leading Clinton, if even his sworn enemies are reporting it. Don’t forget that the Washington Post openly declared war on Trump just recently when they assigned a team of 20 retards to search for the needle in haystack and find anything of use to attack Trump with. Needless to mention, there are no such a teams for Crooked Clinton or Crazy Bernie.
Additionally Hillary does worse with men than Trump does with women yet the media never once attacked Clinton for being an anti-men sexist.
In a new shocking poll by FOX News, Trump is also leading Hillary Clinton with Hispanics by 10 points. Despite the fact that these Hispanics do not feel offended by Trump’s wall plans, the media still brands Trump as a “racist” while branding Clinton as a “winner with minorities”. Trump has made it clear numerous times that the wall is only to prevent ILLEGAL immigration, drugs and possible ISIS terrorists, not to stop law abiding migrants who want to migrate legally, but the Democrats are making a big deal out of it because apparently they value lawlessness. What Democrats don’t understand is that most (definitely not all) of these Hispanic migrants go to America to escape lawlessness, not to have more lawlessness, therefore that’s why they approve Trump’s wall with Mexico.
The establishment politicians and the mainstream media are losing control and panicking, that’s why they keep attacking and criticizing Trump 24/24 on TV.

Featuring thick clouds of ash and smoke rising into the grey sky, spectacular images of the powerful Costa Rica volcano eruption have flooded social media.
The 3,340-meter Turrialba Volcano is located in Cartago Province of central Costa Rica, only 30 km from the country’s capital, San José. The volcanic activity started Wednesday and the first eruptions were recorded Friday, according to local media.
“It seems to me to be the strongest [Turrialba] eruption in the past six years,” volcanologist Gino Gonzalez told AFP. He added that the wind was blowing the smoke and ash westward, toward the most populated areas of the country.
According to the local Tico Times newspaper, the volcano was spewing ash up to 3 kilometers into the air. The paper added that the eruptions turned the sky completely gray, and the ground temperature dropped a few degrees.
The National Emergencies Commission in a Facebook statement called people to take masks and wear tight clothing to protect their lungs and skin from the ash and smoke.
Since the start of the eruption, hundreds of local residents reportedly sought medical help due to breathing and skin problems.
People took to social media to describe the “all-hell-broke-loose” situation in the region. They spoke about a strong sulfur smell and added that ash has reached four provinces of Costa Rica.

Bill and Hill went to Donald Trump’s wedding in 2005.
They ate, drank, frolicked and left without leaving a gift.
The New York Post reported:
When Hillary Clinton and husband Bill attended Donald Trump’s 2005 wedding, their presence was their present.
Asked at a Monday night forum in Iowa what she got Trump for his wedding, Clinton responded with a slight smile, “Nothing. Nothing.”
“He used to — he was basically a Democrat before he was a Republican,” she continued, “and he was, you know, somebody that we all knew in New York.
“And he was supportive of Democrats. He was supportive of a lot of the causes that I cared about and that people I knew cared about.”
“Now he seems to have taken another road,” she concluded.
At the GOP debate in Cleveland, Trump claimed Clinton had “no choice” but to attend his wedding. Trump married Melania Knauss, his third wife, at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach.
What cheapskates.
Hopefully, someone checked their pockets before they left.

Trouble is brewing on the road to Hillary Clinton’s coronation.
Fans of Bernie Sanders who believe the primary system is rigged against his candidacy are taking their fight to the convention.
Organizers are vowing to have one million communist dissenters attend the Democratic National Convention.
“WE’RE READY TO GO! Our goal is 50,000 new members ASAP and 1 MILLION STRONG TO THE CONVENTION! Everyone add as many Bernie supporters as you can to make this happen — nothing more important than 1 Million strong!” organizer Laurie Cestnick wrote in the “Occupy DNC Convenion” Facebook group, which has over 18,000 members and is growing.
They’ve set up a PayPal account and are accepting donations to fund their activities.
Meanwhile, other Bernie supporters have secured permits to hold protests near the convention site.

The four rallies, given permits Wednesday night, bring the total to five for approved rallies and marches during what is expected to be a bustling week of political activity in Center City and South Philadelphia. The convention officially runs July 25-28, but two of the five approved rallies and marches of more than 7,000 activists will be held July 24 — the day more than 4,000 delegates arrive from across the country.
The permits allow some 30,000 people to attend the “March for Bernie at DNC” rallies, but if Cestnick has her way, there will be a lot more than that.
“The goal is to swing super delegates to vote for Bernie. We are showing that HE is the will of the people NOT a fraudulent Hillary nomination,” Cestnick says in a document on the group’s Facebook page.
“So, we are contesting Hillary’s nomination on the grounds of fraud, voter suppression, and corruption. We show them who we want. If they nominate her anyway, we show them they did not ‘win’ for we will not be voting for her in November,” she writes.
When Republicans wanted to gather at the RNC, everyone accused them and even Trump himself of “inciting to violence”. So far no one has accused these communist bastards of violence for wanting to do the same thing. And the difference is that Trump supporters are genuinely peaceful and they never attack anyone unprovoked while Bernie supporters on the other hand are extremely violent, caused many violent protests such as the one in Chicago and in Costa Mesa California, jumping on police cars, attacking cops, opposition supporters and destroying people’s cars. One can only imagine what could happen at the DNC if 1 million communist lunatics will gather together…
