On Tuesday May 3rd, Donald Trump won the Republican nomination for president when Senator Ted Cruz dropped out of the race after the Indiana primary. On Thursday May 5th, Paul Ryan told reporters he was not yet ready to endorse Donald Trump as the Republican nominee. AFTER FOUR WEEKS Speaker Paul Ryan finally endorsed Donald Trump. The Gazette Extra reported: When Donald Trump became the Republican Party’s presumptive nominee for president one month ago, many Republicans like me faced a big question. Six months earlier, in October, as I was taking the job as House speaker, my colleagues and I were discussing an equally important question: What could House Republicans do to give Americans a clear choice about the future of the country? Sure, count us among the majority of Americans upset with the direction our country is headed. But that’s not enough. We agreed that we must focus less on what we’re against and more on what we’re for. So, long before we knew who our nominee would be, we decided we would present the country a policy agenda that offers a better way forward. We know what we believe in, so let’s bring it to the country. That’s how I’ve always looked at it. I’ve spent most of my adult life pursuing ways to help protect the “American Idea”—the notion that the condition of one’s birth does not determine the outcome of one’s life. The first step is always putting it on paper and having a real debate. And with the Obama presidency nearing an end, we have a real opportunity to get big things done the next four years. That’s why next week my colleagues and I will start introducing a series of policy proposals that address the American people’s top priorities. These plans are the result of months of work by House Republicans. The concept from the start was simple: If we had a Republican president ready to sign bills into law, what would we do? Source |

GOP nominee Donald Trump described himself as a ‘counter-puncher’ in a speech in San Jose Thursday night, and called for Hillary Clinton to be jailed for using a private email server to send classified government material while Secretary of State. Trump called Clinton out over a speech she made earlier in the day, which he referred to as “a Donald Trump hit job”. “After what she said about me today in her phony speech — that was a phony speech, that was a Donald Trump hit job — I will say this: Hillary Clinton has to go to jail,” Trump declared. Trump then said that Clinton is only siding with President Obama currently on issues such as the Iran deal because she knows the White House can expose her on the email issue. “Anything Obama wants, she’s going forward with because you know why? She doesn’t want to go to jail,” Trump said. “The only reason she’s behaving like this, and the only reason she’s been dragged so far left, believe me, is she doesn’t want to go to jail over the emails,” he added, noting that during the 2008 election campaign Obama and Hillary “hated each other”. “Folks, honestly, she’s guilty as hell,” Trump continued. “The fact that they even allow her to participate in this race is a disgrace to the United States, it’s a disgrace to our nation.” During her speech in San Diego, as the candidates head into the California primary, Hillary said Trump does not have the temperament to be president, and that his proposals consist of “bizarre rants, personal feuds and outright lies.” “Donald Trump’s ideas aren’t just different; they are dangerously incoherent,” Clinton said. Indeed, Hillary referred to Trump over 60 times during her 30 minute speech, which was supposed to be focused on her foreign policies. Trump hit back, stating “My temperament is so much tougher, and so much better, than her temperament. And, by the way, we need a tough temperament,” he said, also noting that that Hillary “stupidly raised her hand” for the Iraq War. “Hillary said, ‘Oh, Donald Trump, his finger on the button,’” Trump continued, adding “I’m the one who didn’t want to go in Iraq, folks.” Trump called her speech “pathetic,” and added “It had nothing to do with foreign policy.” The GOP nominee further described Hillary’s speech as dull and boring, adding “I think she’s make more money if she made speeches and sold them for people that can’t sleep.” Trump later sent out a series of tweets attacking Clinton. Venezuela’s communist President Nicolas Maduro endorsed Bernie Sanders for USSA president today.
Viva la revolución! Venezuela’s communist President Nicolas Maduro is a Bernie Sanders fan. Is anyone surprised? Of course, people in Venezuela are starving and Bernie won’t comment on it but who cares? Socialism/communism is great, right?CNN reports: Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro believes Bernie Sanders would be headed to the White House if the U.S. held “free” and fair elections. During a television broadcast on Tuesday night, Maduro — who has expressed support for Sanders, a self-described democratic socialist, in the past — called the Democratic candidate “our revolutionary friend” and said it was only “an archaic (electoral) system that is 200 years old” keeping him from the presidency. Maduro’s comments, heard on a video translated by Reuters, were less complimentary of the presumptive Republican nominee. “Donald Trump could win with the electoral system they have in the United States,” Maduro said. “And you know why? Because Donald Trump is using a force for change hidden in U.S. society.” Neither campaign responded immediately to requests for comment. Maybe Bernie can go to work for the Maduro administration when the 2016 election is over. They were made for each other. Source |

While some condemned the wave of violence carried out by anti-Trump agitators in San Jose yesterday, segments of the leftist media justified the carnage, even going so far as to blame a woman who was surrounded and assaulted by vicious Mexican flag-waving thugs. CNN reporter Sara Murray claimed that the woman had “taunted” the mob, although video footage shows little other than the woman expressing her pride in being a Trump supporter before being pelted with eggs and bottles. Murray seemed to be a little embarrassed by her tweet, later going to lengths to point out that anti-Trump agitators were attacking people who did not antagonize them in any way. San Jose Mayor Sam Liccardo, a Hillary Clinton supporter also blamed Trump for the violence carried out by anti-Trump radicals, remarking, “At some point Donald Trump needs to take responsibility for the irresponsible behavior of his campaign.” The left-wing Guardian also unapologetically tried to downplay the violence, blaming Trump supporters for being “intent on provoking and fighting as well.” The newspaper reported that protesters had “gathered peacefully outside the convention center” and that the shift in mood was the fault of “One woman in Trump apparel (who) taunted the crowd.” The report also justifies how angry mobs surrounded cars being driven by Trump supporters, blaming one Trump voter for, “almost hitting several people and sending the protesters running.” The report notes that the clashes only turned violent “once Trump was in the venue and began speaking,” subtly blaming the Republican candidate for the mayhem. The Conservative Treehouse points out that, “A violent mob of several hundred were allowed by the San Jose Police Department and Democrat San Jose Mayor to attack Donald Trump supporters as they were leaving the rally venue.” During the height of the unrest, Vox editor Emmett Rensin openly called for more riots, emphasizing again how the leftist media is legitimizing the mayhem. As the video clips below illustrate, Trump supporters are clearly the victims of this crazed violent mob, being attacked even when they attempt to retreat, yet the media still insists on blaming Trump and his supporters. A Trump supporter who is walking away from the convention center is brutally hit with a sucker punch. Another Trump supporter walking away and minding his own business is left bleeding after being whacked by an object from behind. A Hispanic man throws a punch at Trump supporters before more anti-Trump agitators chase a Trump supporter down the street. Another anti-Trump radical launches a fist at a Trump supporter. The Associated Press later reported that, “There were no immediate reports of injuries,” despite innumerable videos showing Trump supporters being viciously attacked. Other videos show anti-Trump radicals ripping up American flags as they wave Mexican flags while trashing America. Once again, the media has been caught lying in an attempt to prolong the debunked narrative that Trump and his supporters are to blame for the violence, when in almost every instance it’s violent, hateful, aggressive anti-Trump agitators who are brazenly attacking people on the street with no provocation whatsoever. Russia’s defense ministry released a video of Su-34 bombers destroying an Islamic State oil-refining plant near the Syrian city of Ras al-Ayn on the border with Turkey, as Russia intensifies airstrikes on the terrorists’ oil smuggling routes. The video released on Thursday shows Russian jets hitting oil reservoirs located on territory under Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) control. “Strikes took technical equipment out of operation and inflamed oil products, causing a large fire at the plant,” reads the bulletin of the Russian Centre for reconciliation of opposing sides in Syria from June 1. Russia has repeatedly blamed Turkey for enabling IS and other militant groups to conduct illegal oil trade. Addressing the students of Belarusian State University earlier in May, Russia’s FM, Sergey Lavrov, argued that “Turkey did nothing to stop” the smuggling of oil, artifacts, and other goods through the porous Turkish-Syrian border. Moreover, there is “reason to believe that it [Turkey] even benefited from this.” The new strike is part of intensified efforts by Russia to cut the funding of the terrorists’ activities in Syria. General Sergey Rudskoy, chief of the main operations department of the Russian General Staff, said last week that the Russian air force had increased its “airstrikes against illegal oil production sites and smuggling routes to Turkey.” On May 31, Russia carried out strikes near the Syrian city of Al-Taura, only 42 kilometers [26 miles] from Raqqa, Islamic State’s stronghold. Bombers “destroyed illegal terrorists’ oil production facilities” during the operation, the ministry of defense said. Russia launched a major anti-terrorist campaign in Syria on September 30, 2015, at the request of President Bashar Assad. The bombing campaign proved to be a success, destroying more than 200 oil producing and refining facilities that had been seized by terrorists. Russia’s Security Council deputy head, Evgeny Lukyanov, estimated that up to 28,000 Islamic State and Al-Nusra Front militants were killed in the Syrian Army and Russian air forces’ joint operation, amounting to roughly 35 percent of their total number in Syria. With the support of Russia’s air strikes, Syrian troops managed to liberate the city of Palmyra in March. More than 500 populated areas in total have been recaptured from the hands of the terrorists, said Russia’s President Vladimir Putin, noting that Russia’s involvement in the conflict helped to “achieve a radical turn in the battle against militants.” Although Russia ended its campaign and withdrew the main part of its forces from Syria in March, it has maintained a military presence in the country, in particular at the Tartus and Khmeimim airbases, with the objective of assuring that all parties to the ceasefire regime brokered with the US on February 27 are in compliance. While the US-led coalition and Russia have agreed not to target armed opposition groups that joined the truce, Islamic State, Jabhat al-Nusra, along with other internationally recognized terrorist groups, were excluded from the agreement. The search continues for a 7-year-old boy missing in the bear-infested mountains of Hokkaido, Japan after being abandoned by his parents as punishment. Some 180 rescuers are involved in the search for Yamato Tanooka. After abandoning the boy as a form of punishment on Saturday, the parents returned to the site shortly afterwards to find he was no longer there, according to a police spokesperson. The search for the young child continued into late Sunday with police searching thick forest, torches in hand and a helicopter overhead. Mountain rescue teams and police widened their focus on Monday with sniffer dogs and horses brought in to help search the thick forest. Police are considering filing neglect charges against the boy’s parents, according to the Kyodo news agency. The parents of the missing boy originally told police that Yamato went missing when the family was picking edible plants in the mountains of the Japanese island on Saturday. The boy’s father told TV Asahi that he lied to police when requesting a search as he felt guilty for causing an inconvenience. “The parents left the boy in the mountains as a punishment,” a police spokesperson said. “They said they went back to the site immediately but the boy was no longer there.” Hokkaido is the northernmost of Japan’s main islands and home to the ussuri brown bear, also known as the black grizzly. According to the Japan Times, there have been 86 attacks by bears in Hokkaido on humans with 33 deaths since 1962. In the US, Safe Haven laws permit children to be abandoned at firehouses, police stations and hospitals, in an effort to prevent unwanted children being dumped in dangerous places. In Nebraska, an age-limit was not originally set on the law, leading to parents traveling to the state to abandon teenagers, according to USA Today. Source |

President Obama had an awkward moment on stage in Indiana yesterday when he tried to slam Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. The lame duck president went to Indiana today to hold a rally and trash-talk Donald Trump. Unfortunately, it didn’t go as planned. He turned into a stuttering mess. During off the cuff remarks denigrating Trump Wednesday, the teleprompter-in-chief appeared to suffer a bizarre mental lapse, and ended up stammering his way through a speech. Barack Obama: If we turn against each other based on division of race or religion. If-if-if-if-if-if-if-if-if-if- Someone really needs to check that Teleprompter. |

An accurate model of the City Scanner drone from legendary game Half-Life 2 computer game has been created by an enthusiast from Russia. Watch RT’s video of the fully-operational model’s first test flight. The video shows the drone slowly drifting inside an abandoned building with the direction and the altitude of the flight being changed. Valentin Demchenko from Russia’s Saratov region, who built the drone, says that he assembled the model “from scratch” at home, inspired by the quadcopter, and it took him two months to create the City Scanner drone copy. Eighty centimeters long and 55 centimeters high, the model is a full size replica of the drone from the famous game. In Half-Life 2, Combine Empire, which is the primary antagonistic force in the game, used such drones to spy on the citizens, including the game’s protagonist, in the fictional City 17. The drones took shots of the offenders and could call reinforcements. Demchenko’s work was praised by many internet-users, while some people said that, while some Half-Life 2 technologies already became reality, Half-Life 3, which is one of the most anticipated video games, has still not been announced. Former Breitbart.com reporter Michelle Fields made headlines in March when she said Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski grabbed her and threw her down on the ground after Donald Trump’s Jupiter, Florida victory speech. The Gateway Pundit’s Kristinn Taylor was in the room at the time and did not see the incident in question. He was the last reporter to film Corey closing up the event with reporters. Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields filed criminal assault charges with Jupiter, Florida police against Donald Trump’s campaign manager Corey Lewandowski several days after the incident. Fields claims she suffered a slight bruise when Lewandowski “intentionally” assaulted her. Unfortunately for Fields a video was later released and posted on The Gateway Pundit that showednothing happened. In the video Fields does not flinch. Her facial expression does not change. This proves that what Michelle Fields has been telling the media was fabricated. Via Special Report: The sham charges against Lewandowski were later thrown out of court. But that hasn’t stopped Michelle Fields, now a Huffington Post reporter, from repeating her lie. Fields repeated her Lewandowski lie in her new book. The Hill reported: Journalist Michelle Fields addresses her run-in with Donald Trump’s campaign manager and her views of the GOP presidential candidate in her forthcoming book, due out later this month. Fields discusses the incident in a four-page “Note to the Reader” at the beginning of “Barons of the Beltway: Inside the Princely World of our Washington Elite – and How to Overthrow Them.” Trump Campaign Manager Corey Lewandowski was seen on security footage at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Club in Florida taking hold of the reporter’s arm on March 8, as she attempted to ask the candidate a question after a press conference. “I lost my balance and nearly fell to the ground,” Fields wrote in her book, a copy of which was provided to The Hill ahead of its sale date of June 21. “That moment started a whirlwind I didn’t ask for and didn’t want, and a story that took on a life of its own.” Palm Beach county prosecutors ultimately decided in April against pursuing a simple battery charge against Lewandowski that was filed by police in Jupiter, Fla., and Trump’s camp argued the charges were overblown. Oh Michelle, you crazy loon. Please seek help. Source |

The European Union is proposing a government ID for using the Internet which will eradicate both on-line privacy and free speech. Spearheaded by former communist official Andrus Ansip, the European Commission published a draft document outlining its proposed electronic ID that would not only allow the EU to track what you say on-line, but also what you buy. According to the document: It is recognised that a multitude of username and password combinations is both inconvenient and a security risk. However, the frequent practice of using one’s platform profile to access a range of websites and services often involves non-transparent exchanges and cross- linkages of personal data between various online platforms and websites. As a remedy, in order to keep identification simple and secure, consumers should be able to choose the credentials by which they want to identify or authenticate themselves. In particular, online platforms should accept credentials issued or recognised by national public authorities, such as electronic or mobile IDs, national identity cards, or bank cards. To sum it up, the EU wants to monitor everything Europeans do on-line by having all their Internet activities linked to a government ID which will annihilate on-line anonymity. The program has already drawn comparisons to the ‘Mark of the Beast’ from the Book of Relevation. “And the second beast required all people small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark—the name of the beast or the number of its name,” Revelation 13:16 read, and it’s plausible the EU will eventually propose an implantable, biometric ID. Furthermore, Mr. Ansip is from Estonia, a former communist country which has the most advanced mandatory ID system in the world. “Much more than simply a legal picture ID, the mandatory national card serves as the digital access card for all of Estonia’s secure e-services,” the country boasts, and without the ID, citizens cannot:

His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama has said Europe is accepting “too many” refugees and they need to go back, echoing the American spiritual leader Donald Trump. From AFP: The Dalai Lama said in an interview published Thursday that Europe has accepted “too many” refugees, and that they should eventually return to help rebuild their home countries. “When we look into the face of every single refugee, especially the children and women, we can feel their suffering,” said the Tibetan spiritual leader, who has himself lived in exile for over half a century. “A human being who is a bit more fortunate has the duty to help them. On the other hand, there are too many now,” he said, according to the German translation of the interview in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. “Europe, for example Germany, cannot become an Arab country,” he added with a laugh, the daily reported. “Germany is Germany. “There are so many that in practice it becomes difficult.” The Dalai Lama added that “from a moral point of view too, I think that the refugees should only be admitted temporarily”. “The goal should be that they return and help rebuild their countries.” The simplest of simpletons should be able to understand this situation in Europe is not sustainable and is going to end horribly. Compare what the Dalai Lama said to Pope Francis who every day is calling for Europe to be flooded with endless migrants and even suggested Muslims have to breed with Europeans to counter their “declining birth rate.” The Arabs have 22 countries of their own (not including the UK). Why exactly is it Europe’s responsibility to “rescue” their every last military aged male? Germany is Germany and Europe is Europe. Germany is not Germanistan and Europe is not Eurabia. These men should be building up and defending their own countries rather than leaving their women and children behind in so-called war zones to go on “rape tours” and collect welfare in Europe. A 15 year-old Moroccan girl walked into a German railway in March and stabbed the first police officer who approached her. (Breitbart.com) Computer records show ISIS ordered the teen to kill German police in the name of Allah. Breitbart London reported: A chat log from the computer of the 15-year-old who stabbed a German policeman reveals that the Islamic State ordered the attack. Police in Germany have announced new evidence in the case of Safia S., the 15-year-old girl who stabbed a policeman at a railway station in Hanover in February. New evidence from the confiscated computer of the young girl proves that she was not only in contact with the terrorist organisation, but that the Islamic State had ordered her to carry out “martyrdom operations,” Bild reports. Initially, authorities believed that Safia had only been inspired by Islamic State propaganda on the internet and that she had been mostly self radicalised. Safia is said to have attempted to make the journey to join Islamic State in Syria but was taken back to Germany by her mother. The chat logs, which were between Safia and a fellow Islamist in Hanover, were looked at by several German news sources including public broadcasters WDR and NDR as well as the newspaper Suddeutsche Zeitung. The logs revealed that Safia had contacts at the Turkish border with Syria and that she had not been travelling completely on her own as was previously thought. Source |

As the US and EU continue to secretly debate the controversial Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP), talks aren’t only taking place behind closed doors. Frustrations are also being aired online, according to emails obtained by Politico. An email sent on Friday and obtained by the website shows the European Commission warning the 28 EU ambassadors in Brussels that there will be no TTIP deal unless Washington changes its approach to negotiations. The document focuses on agriculture, one of the most contentious of the 27 chapters currently under negotiation in TTIP talks. The email expresses the Commission’s concern that “the EU has not seen substantial progress in areas of significant importance to EU agriculture, such as geographical indications, wine and non-tariff barriers.” It goes on to state that “the US Administration does not yet seem to be in a place where it can reciprocate the EU’s efforts in TTIP and to start delivering on matters of EU interest.” The email, written from the office of European Agriculture Commissioner Phil Hogan, was agreed upon by several Commission departments, and President Jean-Claude Juncker’s office was aware of it being sent to the EU ambassadors, according to separate emails seen by Politico. Friday’ email came in response to what the Commission referred to as a “somewhat unusual email correspondence” received on Wednesday from Washington’s ambassador to the EU, Anthony Gardner, that criticized Hogan for making a “series of misleading statements in the press” with a list of the remarks. In a somewhat ironic statement considering the now public nature of his email, Gardner also said that “while differences of opinion are natural, especially on tough issues like agriculture, they should be aired privately, rather than in the public arena.” He went on to express Washington’s position that “EU tariffs are 2-3 times as high as US tariffs and EU non-tariff barriers have virtually eliminated many of our key exports.” However, an internal Commission briefing shared with EU ambassadors and obtained by Politico shows that the European Union has its own concerns over the possible removal of tariffs. The document cites “substantial gains for US agriculture if tariffs and some non-tariff barriers are fully removed by the EU side. In the applied scenarios the US is a clear winner in trade in agricultural products in TTIP.” The TTIP has been controversial since it was first proposed. Backers, including US President Barack Obama, stress that it would create the world’s largest free-trade zone, claiming the more integrated marketplace would help small businesses by opening up markets and making customs processes easier. They also say it would reduce trade tariffs on products. However, many Europeans say the TTIP would place corporate interest above national interest, stressing that international corporations would be given power at the expense of small and medium-sized businesses. The secrecy surrounding the talks has also come under fierce criticism. In order for the TTIP to come into force, all 28 EU member states and the European Parliament would have to ratify it – a possibility which seems increasingly unlikely. Negotiations on the deal have so far consisted of 13 rounds of talks over the course of three years. Source |

Bernie Sanders was recently interviewed on Univision and the host asked him to comment on the collapse of the economy in the socialist paradise of Venezuela. Naturally, Bernie didn’t care to discuss it. NewsBusters reported: Bernie Hits Bump on Univision: Speechless on Socialism’s Failures The Democrats’ socialist candidate for President of the United States, Bernie Sanders, was seriously tripped up this week in an interview with Univision’s León Krauze. When asked to explain the failure of socialist governments in Venezuela, Argentina and Brazil, Sanders completely clammed up, saying he has an opinion on the subject, but was unwilling to share it, as he is “focused on my campaign.” LEÓN KRAUZE, UNIVISION: I am sure that you know about this topic: various leftist governments, especially the populists, are in serious trouble in Latin America. The socialist model in Venezuela has the country near collapse. Argentina, also Brazil, how do you explain that failure? BERNIE SANDERS, DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE: You are asking me questions… LEÓN KRAUZE, UNIVISION: I am sure you’re interested in that. BERNIE SANDERS, DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE: I am very interested, but right now I’m running for President of the United States. LEÓN KRAUZE, UNIVISION: So you don’t have an opinion about the crisis in Venezuela? BERNIE SANDERS, DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE: Of course I have an opinion, but as I said, I’m focused on my campaign. Isn’t it interesting that no one in the American media has thought to ask Bernie these questions? It’s obviously just a coincidence. Source |

The Obama administration yesterday declared the month of June to be LGBT Pride month. As in the previous seven years, an official declaration on the White House website Monday calls for Americans to unite behind the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender community. “The fight for dignity and equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people is reflected in the tireless dedication of advocates and allies who strive to forge a more inclusive society,” the president wrote. “They have spurred sweeping progress by changing hearts and minds and by demanding equal treatment — under our laws, from our courts, and in our politics. This month, we recognize all they have done to bring us to this point, and we recommit to bending the arc of our Nation toward justice.” “NOW, THEREFORE, I, BARACK OBAMA, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim June 2016 as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month,” dictated the 44th US president. “I call upon the people of the United States to eliminate prejudice everywhere it exists, and to celebrate the great diversity of the American people.” The latest proclamation arrived with little fanfare; no tweets, Facebook posts or rainbow-colored White House. The president’s announcement comes as the administration has inserted itself amid a heated debate over public school transgender bathroom rules, with the White House currently embroiled in a legal battle with North Carolina, as several states sue the federal government claiming overreach. Last June, Obama stoked controversy when he ordered the White House lit in the colors of the rainbow following a Supreme Court decision legalizing same-sex marriage. An issue of Newsweek in May 2012 also labeled Obama “The First Gay President” for his legacy in progressing the gay-rights movement. Source |
