French DGA awards CONTACT programme contract to Thales
Thales has received a contract from the French defence procurement agency (DGA) for the supply of advanced tactical radio systems to the country's armed forces as part of the tactical and theatre digital communications (CONTACT) programme. Selex to continue SISTAC upgrade for Brazilian Army Selex Elsag has been awarded a contract for the second phase upgrade of the Brazilian Army's SISTAC tactical communications system, in a bid to enhance its capabilities to better support the country's Armed Force's combat operations. Invincea gets US Army contract for secure Android devices The US Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and the Army Research Laboratory (ARL) has awarded a contract to Invincea for the production and supply of secure smartphone and tablet mobile platforms for use by its military personnel. Lockheed to manage US DoD's global data network Lockheed Martin has been selected by the US Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) to manage operations of the Department of Defense's (DoD) global data network, as part of the global systems management operations (GSM-O) contract. |
