Shocking Russian Report Labels GMO Foods “Bio-Warfare Weapon”

A shocking report prepared by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev privately explaining his decision today to postpone the introduction of certifying genetically-modified seeds (GMO) for another three years in the Russian Federation warns that these “artificial” organisms are now showing “compelling evidence” of their being related to “bio-warfare agents” due to their “catastrophic effect” upon human health rather than their being able to be consumed as food.
According to this report, Medvedev was “compelled” to sign his September, 2013 decree introducing the certification of GMO seeds due to the complex process of Russia ascending into the World Trade Organization (WTO), but which in his public statement today he asserted:
“This decree done on my initiative will be corrected and we will postpone the date of introducing the certification for three years, because we’re simply not ready, but even if the certification appears in three years or at another time, this doesn’t mean that we will allow the use of genetically-modified material.”
This report further states that Medvedev’s decision was based upon research done by Doctor-Scientist Irina Ermakova who is vice president of Russia’s National Association for Genetic Safety (NAGS) and who this past December (2013) warned, “It has been proved that not only in Russia, but also in many other countries in the world, GMO is dangerous.”
Important to note is that after Dr. Ermakova’s December warning, Medevdev stated that Russia will not import GMO products and said, “If the Americans like to eat GMO products, let them eat it then. We don’t need to do that; we have enough space and opportunities to produce organic food.”
Critical to note about Dr. Ermakova is that her over decade research into GMO seeds showed that one of the techniques used in creating them involved putting into them tumor-causing soil bacteria, about which she warned, “Consumption and use of GMOs obtained in such way can lead to tumors, cancers and obesity among animals.”
Dr. Ermakova’s GMO research, this report says, was confirmed by French scientist Gilles-Eric Séralini, one of the worlds top molecular biologists at the University of Caen, whose longest running safety study results showed “severe adverse health effects, including mammary tumors and kidney and liver damage, leading to premature death” from Roundup-Ready corn and Roundup herbicide, whether they were consumed separately or together.

Both Dr. Ermakova and Séralini, this report continues, have had their heretofore stellar scientific reputations “smeared” in the West for their daring to stand up to and publish the truth about GMO’s whose giant corporations are supported by the Obama regime, and whose leader, President Barack Obama, last March (2013) signed a law called the “Monsanto Protection Act” forbidding the American people from suing the makers of these deadly seeds and foods.
Most stunning in this report, however, is Dr. Ermakova’s research linking GMO seeds and foods to the epidemic of mental illness and obesity in the United States due to what is called the Candida Albicans fungal yeast overgrowth.
There are numerous foods that can exacerbate the Candida Albicans overgrowth problem, the US-based Natural Society newsletter confirms, namely, exposure to excessive pesticides and herbicides (as in GMO foods produced by Monsanto, Bayer and other corporations), refined sugar, antibiotics (because they disrupt balanced gut flora), fast foods, and many “convenience foods” stocked at grocery stores, processed carbohydrates or refined carbohydrates also turn into sugar quickly in the body, so they can cause Candida overgrowth as well.
Going from the mere stunning to the truly shocking, this report continues, studies in both the US and Holland earlier last decade confirmed the catastrophic effect GMO foods are having upon school children, and as we can read from one of them:

“We are just beginning to understand the influence of food on behavior. A study in Science in December 2002 concluded that “food molecules act like hormones, regulating body functioning and triggering cell division. The molecules can cause mental imbalances ranging from attention-deficit and hyperactivity disorder to serious mental illness.” The problem is we do not know which food molecules have what effect. The bigger problem is that the composition of GM foods can change radically without our knowledge.
Genetically modified foods have genes inserted into their DNA. But genes are not Legos; they don’t just snap into place. Gene insertion creates unpredicted, irreversible changes. In one study, for example, a gene chip monitored the DNA before and after a single foreign gene was inserted. As much as 5 percent of the DNA’s genes changed the amount of protein they were producing. Not only is that huge in itself, but these changes can multiply through complex interactions down the line.”

With nearly 35% of the American people reported to be obese and a further 20% being reported as having a mental illness, this report concludes, the “extreme correlation” between these health epidemics and the rise of GMO foods can no longer be ignored…but by the Obama regime not only ignoring them, and actually protecting GMO corporations…it is “logical to assume” that these peoples are undergoing what is, perhaps, the largest bio-warfare experiment ever conducted in human history.
And to further note, the United States, unlike some 60 other countries, lacks a legal requirement to label GMO’s despite a recent New York Times poll that found that 93% of Americans want GMO food to be labeled, all of which leads to the question… WHY?

Britain finds dramatic rise in skin cancer

Taking proper precautions when going out in the sun, avoiding tanning beds and sun over-exposure can cut the risk of skin cancer.

Latest research in Britain demonstrates a dramatic rise in the number of people with skin cancer, adding that more than 2,000 people die from the disease on an annual basis.
Each year, more than 13,000 people are diagnosed with malignant melanoma, the most dangerous form of skin cancer, the Cancer Research UK revealed in a new report.
The rate of malignant melanoma – now the fifth most common type of cancer in the country – are now five times higher in the UK than they were in the 1970s, the figures showed.
Scientists attributed the high rate of skin cancer to the huge increase in package holidays to sunny European destinations, a boom in sun bed use and the fashion for a tan.
Sunburn is known to increase the risk of skin cancer, particularly in people with pale skin or large numbers of moles or freckles.
“Holidays in hot climates have become more affordable and sun beds are more widely available since the 1970s. But we know over-exposure to UV (ultraviolet) rays from the sun or sun beds is the main cause of skin cancer. This means, in many cases, the disease can be prevented, and is why it’s essential to get into good sun safety habits, whether at home or abroad,” said Nick Ormiston-Smith, the head of statistics at Cancer Research UK.
Experts concluded that taking proper precautions when going out in the sun, avoiding tanning beds and sun over-exposure can cut the risk of skin cancer.

While Americans comprise only 5 percent of the world population, we consume an incredible 50 percent of Big Pharma’s drugs, as explained in Jeff Hays’ documentary film, Doctored. Make no mistake. These drugs are meant to keep us imprisoned in poor health, not heal us. It’s time to kick the drug habit America. Nigerian army searching for 234 terrorist abducted school girls

Nigerian security forces continue their search for more than 200 girls, who remain missing after being abducted by militants from a school in the volatile northeastern part of the country.
“The operation is going on and we will continue to deploy more troops,” Nigerian Defense Ministry spokesman Major General Chris Olukolade said on Tuesday.
According to the students’ parents, 234 were still missing after the mass abduction of teenage schoolgirls from Chibok school in Borno state last week.
“I have not seen my dear daughter, she is a good girl,” cried a man, whose 17-year-old daughter was taken away, adding, “We plead with the government to help rescue her and her friends; we pray nothing happens to her.”
There has been no claim of responsibility for the abduction, but officials and residents blamed the Boko Haram militant group for the assault.
Reports say some of the abducted students have managed to flee their captors.
Boko Haram — whose name means “Western education is forbidden” — says its goal is to overthrow the Nigerian government.
The group has claimed responsibility for a number of deadly gun and bomb attacks in various parts of Nigeria since 2009.
Over the past four years, violence in the north of Africa’s most populous country has claimed the lives of 3,600 people, including killings by the security forces.

Russia bans GMOs for 3 more years

Russia will not start certifying GM seeds for at least three more years due to delays in creating the necessary infrastructure, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev told MPs. Earlier Russia had expected to allow planting such seeds from June.
The delay comes amid the general GMO-skeptic mood that the Russian government adopted recently. The country may even ban the cultivation and import of genetically modified foodstuffs.
Last year, the government allowed the planting of GM seeds starting July 2014 as part of Russia’s accession to the World Trade Organization. Now the deadline will have to change, Medvedev told Russian MPs.
“The government decree will be amended. Not because it was wrong, but because the deadline stipulated in it was too optimistic,” he said, explaining that at the moment there are not enough gene laboratories to meet the demand for certification in Russia.
“But even if the certification starts in three years or after some time, it doesn’t mean that we will allow the use of genetically modified material,” Medvedev said.
He added that the labs and the entire system of certification will still be needed, considering that even with strict regulation of the sale of GM seeds, some of them have found their way into Russia.
“The problem is that GM material is already everywhere,” Medvedev said. “We need to know where and how it is being used. The labs’ task would be to do that. That’s what we are planning to invest in.”
GMOs “may be an absolute evil or pose no real problem,” he added. “We need to see what happens in the next few years. Russia can feed itself without any GM products.”
Medvedev was reiterating his position, voiced in April, when he said that Russia will not import GMO food from other countries.
“We don’t have a goal of developing GM products here or to import them. We can feed ourselves with normal, common, not genetically modified products. If the Americans like to eat such products, let them eat them. We don’t need to do that; we have enough space and opportunities to produce organic food,” he said at the time.
Genetically modified crops are made in the lab, usually to be resistant to certain pests and diseases or withstand pesticides. But their use remains a controversial issue, with many people concerned about the potential harm GM food may cause to human health.
There are also scientifically confirmed problems with crops diversity and emergence of pests that evolved to beat the protection that GMOs were given against them. In the longer term, planting GM seeds may prove less financially beneficial for farmers than advertised by biotech companies and may have environmental side-effects.
