Anyone who thinks waking up is simply a spontaneous event or some kind of cake walk hasn’t woken up yet.

It takes a lot to arrive at the door of discovery as well as courage to open the door. In fact, all of the doors, as life is a series of decisions on where to travel and what to do when faced with the myriad of options presented before us.

Ask anyone who’s in any sort of awakened state and despite their present calm brought on by strong conviction for truth, I dare say they’ve been through the mill in their life to get to where they are today.

It may seem like peaches and cream to an outsider looking in at some of the more ethereal spiritual conclusions many arrive at in the course their travels through life, but I guarantee you there was a lot of suffering, confusion, physical, spiritual and/or mental abuse and times of darkness and despair along the way.

The following timeline describes just a few of the hundreds of atrocities and crimes committed by the CIA. (1)

CIA operations follow the same recurring script. First, American business interests abroad are threatened by a popular or democratically elected leader.

The people support their leader because he intends to conduct land reform, strengthen unions, redistribute wealth, nationalize foreign-owned industry, and regulate business to protect workers, consumers and the environment.

So, on behalf of American business, and often with their help, the CIA mobilizes the opposition. First it identifies right-wing groups within the country (usually the military), and offers them a deal:

It used to be common knowledge in consciousness circles that a person needed to be grounded both energetically and physically. 

People would talk about what foods helped them feel the most grounded, how spending time in nature helped them ground their meditative experiences and so on. 

However, I have noticed a trend in the last few years where people are getting very ungrounded, and are even encouraging others to engage "spiritual" practices that are very ungrounding. 

(Spell check says "ungrounding" is not a word, but I say that it is).

The motives behind the expose report on CIA practices of torture misses the critical issue surrounding the “Agency”.

Most Democrats and many left wing partisans enjoy pointing the dagger at George W. Bush and his cabal of dedicated conspirators.

While the first family of fascist facilitators are certainly an indefensible clan of criminals, the essential element about the Central Intelligence Agency is that gathering and interrupting clandestine tradecraft, produces little effect to enhance an American First foreign policy.
