Royal Air Force Typhoons
Typhoon fighter jets from the UK’s Royal Air Force (RAF) were launched to intercept a number of Russian aircraft which were carrying out a routine training mission, as part of NATO’s ongoing mission to police Baltic airspace.
On Tuesday the British jets identified a number of Russian aircraft, including four Sukhoi Su27 fighters, a Tupolev 22 bomber, a Beriev A50 early warning aircraft and an Antonov An26 transport aircraft, the RAF reported.
The Russian aircraft appeared to be carrying out routine training.
Wing Commander Ian Townsend said that this was also a routine deployment for his aircraft.
“We regularly intercept Russian and civilian aircraft from UK Quick Reaction Alert and so this type of mission is core business for us and exactly what we were sent to the Baltic region by NATO to do,” he said as quoted by the Royal Air Force website.
Flight Lieutenant Mark Long, one of the pilots of the Typhoons also remarked that there was nothing unusual about the interception.
“Todays’ interception of the Russian Flankers [SU27 fighters] is all in a day’s work for an RAF fighter pilot,” he said.
The increased military activity in the Baltic region comes after 10 NATO countries launched Sabre Strike, along with Baltic Host 2014 and Baltops 2014 naval drills. Up to 4,700 troops and 800 military vehicles are taking part.

In response, Russia, which sees NATO as a threat, ordered military exercise in the Kaliningrad region, which are comparable in size to the NATO war games.

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe
Japan says it intends to make the necessary preparations to materialize what it calls a robotic revolution and calls robots a massive economic growth factor.
On Thursday, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said, “We would like to set up a council on making a robotic revolution a reality in order to aid Japan’s growth.”
“We want to make robots a major pillar of our economic growth strategy,” he noted.
The premier voiced interest in the country’s hosting Robot Olympics in 2020. “In 2020 I would like to gather all of the world’s robots and aim to hold an Olympics where they compete in technical skills.”
Abe also revealed plans for a taskforce to develop Japan’s robot industry and to triple the size of the market for the machines to 2.4 trillion yen (USD 24 billion).
The country has proven a robotic industry juggernaut.
A Japanese telecommunications and Internet corporation recently said it is to sell anthropoid androids meant to serve in different sectors.
At a press conference in Tokyo, SoftBank Corp said the sales are to begin in February with an eye on making up for understaffed sectors like medical care.
The automatons, which can serve as baby-sitters, nurses, emergency medical workers or even party companions, are to be offered at 198,000 yen (USD 1,900).
CEO Masayoshi Son hailed the robots capability of ‘emotion’ and ‘learning,’ saying, “People describe others as being robots because they have no emotions, no heart. For the first time in human history, we’re giving a robot a heart, emotions.”

Agent confirms reports that deadly, infectious illness is penetrating the US-Mexico border.
An Immigration and Customs Enforcement whistleblower, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to Infowars, asserted the recent surge of illegal immigrants is also bringing with it tuberculosis and other communicable diseases, confirming reports deadly, infectious illness is penetrating the US-Mexico border.
“We do get our isolated cases of people with tuberculosis,” the agent exclusively told Infowars. “There may be a couple that come through that admit to having a communicable disease, but really we don’t check for communicable diseases, that’s not part of the screening process. Unless they tell us they’re sick, we have facilities for that.”
Prior to that, the ICE agent, who works at a detention facility in South Texas, also described the process of screening detainees.
“Whoever is detained goes through a lengthy screening process, chest x-rays, check for tuberculosis, things of that nature, and they’re treated.
“Let’s say for example, a person with tuberculosis will not be released until you either: A. the treatment is completed or B. they can get together with the country that they’re from and see if they can get medical treatment continued there.”
Besides the erosion of the nation’s borders and the obvious political implications of allowing such a massive influx of immigrants, many fear the surge of illegals represents a red-level health emergency to Americans, yet no action has been taken by the Obama administration to stymie it.
“A public health crisis, the likes of which I have not seen in my lifetime, is looming,” reports Dr. Elizabeth Lee Vliet. “Hardest hit by exposures to these difficult-to-treat diseases will be elderly, children, immunosuppressed cancer-patients, patients with chronic lung disease or congestive heart failure. Drug-resistant tuberculosis is the most serious risk, but even diseases like measles can cause severe complications and death in older or immunocompromised patients.”
“TB is highly contagious,” Dr. Vliet continues, “you catch it anywhere around infected people: schools, malls, buses, etc. The drug-resistant TB now coming across our borders requires a complex, extremely expensive treatment regimen that has serious side effects and a low cure rate.”
Of course, the surging numbers of Central American immigrants being reported by the establishment media are way lower than the amount of people actually crossing into the U.S. illegally, and as a Border Patrol whistleblower told Infowars last week, less than half of illegal immigrants are being caught by the federal agency.
“On a good day, we catch approximately 30 to 40 percent of all crossers while the rest simply get away. In the RGV [Rio Grande Valley sector], we have been averaging around 10,000 apprehensions per week. That means we are losing well over 10,000 aliens per week.”
The Department of Homeland Security and its subsidiaries, ICE and Customs and Border Protection, are only exacerbating the situation by paying to escort Unaccompanied Alien Children “with dignity and respect” deeper inside the country, in addition to buying them bus tickets and vouchers “to go somewhere in the interior [of the U.S.],” as one McAllen, Texas, city official revealed to Infowars.

Members of Doctors without Borders carry the body of a person killed at a center for victims of the Ebola virus in Guinea.
Doctors Without Borders has said the Ebola outbreak in West African nations is “totally out of control,” calling for more help in dealing with the disease.
Bart Janssens, the director of operations for the group, said on Friday that international bodies and governments should dispatch more pundits and improve public awareness regarding the disease and ways to stop its spread.
“There needs to be a real political commitment that this is a very big emergency,” Janssens said. “Otherwise, it will continue to spread, and for sure it will spread to more countries.”
“The reality is clear that the epidemic is now in a second wave. For me, it is totally out of control,” he added.
Ebola has affected people in Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia. Most of the cases and deaths have been in Guinea, where 264 have succumbed to the virus.
Meanwhile, 49 people and 24 others lost their lives in Sierra Leone and Liberia respectively.
“This is the highest outbreak on record and has the highest number of deaths, so this is unprecedented so far,” said Armand Sprecher, an expert with Doctors Without Borders.
There is currently no known cure for Ebola, whose symptoms are diarrhea, vomiting and bleeding.
The virus spreads through direct contact with infected blood, feces or sweat. It can also be spread through sexual contact or the unprotected handling of contaminated corpses.
Ebola was first discovered in the Democratic Republic of Congo in 1976 in an outbreak that killed 280 people.
It remains one of the world’s most virulent diseases, which kills between 25 to 90 percent of those who fall sick.

Google and Microsoft are planning to incorporate a “kill switch” technology into the next versions of their smartphone operating systems as evidence mounts that such features actively deter thieves.
Under growing pressure from public officials, the companies have said they will add mechanisms to remotely disable their devices, similar to one introduced by Apple last year.
Google will add a “factory reset protection solution” to its next Android system, the company said in statement Friday. Microsoft’s Vice President for US Government Affairs Fred Humphries in the meantime said his company will offer a new anti-theft mechanism in the next system update for the phones which operate its software, including those made by Nokia.
“With these additional features, we’re hopeful that technology as part of a broader strategy can help to further reduce incentives for criminals to steal smartphones in the first place,” said Humphries in a blog post.
Apple has already introduced a kill-switch for its iPhones, adding an ‘activation lock’ and ‘delete phone’ options to its Find My iPhone app back in September 2013. As a result, thefts of Apple smartphones in New York fall by 19 percent in the first five months of 2014 and by 38 percent and 24 percent in San Francisco and London respectively.
In the meantime some experts worry that software methods aren’t good enough, since hackers would be able to hijack a kill signal. And if a phone is turned off or in flight mode then it might not receive the kill signal at all. This is why some legislators are pushing for a hard kill switch which instead of rendering the phone unusable to an unauthorized user, would make it permanently unusable once stolen.
CTIA, The Wireless Association, a Washington based group that represents the wireless communications industry, said in April that it would offer technology next year that will give phone users the option of rendering their devises inoperable and wiping them of data in case of theft.
But the San Francisco District Attorney George Gascon and the Mayor of London Boris Johnson who lead the Secure Our Smart Phones Initiative group said that the offer is not good enough and fell short “of what is needed to effectively end the epidemic of smartphone theft” and that the technology should be enabled on all phone devices by default.
Gascon raised the problem that some users may not know how to use the feature and if it’s not pre-enabled people will “have to go on a scavenger hunt and figure out how to turn the technology on,” he said in a news conference Thursday in Manhattan.
Meanwhile the Washington Federal Communications Commission Chairman Tom Wheeler said that his agency will have recommendations out for kill-switch technology by the end of the year.
“It’s not enough” said Wheeler in reference to a system that works only if consumers decide to use it. “It’s time to have an automatic, common solution,” he added.
Both Representative Jose Serrano, a New York Democrat, and Senator Amy Klobuchar, a Minnesota Democrat, have introduced bills that would legally require phones sold in the US to include a kill-switch.
“We’re never going to get to the end of incentives to steal unless the thieves know they’re stealing a brick,” said Klobuchar in a meeting Thursday.
The Attorney General of New York Eric Schneiderman, who also leads the Secure Our Smart Phones Initiative, started a coalition of law enforcement officials to push the industry into adding the technology to their phones.
“Today, the smartphone industry acknowledges that its wonderful products have been driving an international crime wave. That change in attitude has opened the door to great possibilities,” said Schneiderman in Thursday’s news conference.
But tackling phone theft will be an uphill battle. Some 3.1 million mobile devices were stolen in the US in 2013 and in Europe one in three Europeans had a mobile device stolen or lost during the same year.

American astrophysicists, who previously stated that they had evidence to prove the existence of primary gravitational waves generated by the Big Bang, now say that they are not certain of their discovery. If their European counterparts prove them wrong, the question of the emergence of gravitational waves at the moment of the Big Bang will be postponed indefinitely. A Russian scientist, who was said to win a Nobel Prize for describing the waves more than 30 years ago, is unlikely to qualify for the Nobel Prize if he is unable to confirm his theory.
The scientists working in the Antarctic observatory BICEP2, published the results of their research in scientific journal Physical Research Letters. The research was previously called a “sensation”. The article notes the existence of blind spots about the object under study. During a public lecture in London, one of the leading physicists of BICEP2, Clem Pryke, a professor at the University of Minnesota, recognized that circumstances had changed.
In March, the scientists said that they found traces of primary gravitational waves that appeared after the Big Bang 13.8 billion years ago. The news received an extensive coverage in the media and triggered many discussions. For the time being, the theory of the emergence of the universe suggests that the world was created as a result of the Big Bang, which physicists call a “moment of inflation.” Immediately after the explosion, the inflationary stage started the continuous abrupt expansion of the universe. The evidence of the existence of this phase was found in 2006.
Many scientists, including Russian ones, stated that huge gravitational waves appeared during the stage, which allowed the universe to expand. According to the theory, because of gravitational waves, small fluctuations on the level of atoms would turn into a giant disturbances that created galaxies.
American scientists announced in March that they had found traces of gravitational waves on the CMB map. Their alleged discovery was made with the help of BICEP telescope (Background Imaging of Cosmic Extragalactic Polarization), the goal of which is to measure the polarization of the CMB, which also appeared at the time of birth of the universe.
Several months ago, critics of the research said that the change in polarization, which U.S. scientists discovered, could be caused with other reasons, rather than primary gravitational waves. The criticism increased significantly after the publication of the data received from Planck telescope. The new data differed from those of BICEP2. The infrared telescope of the spacecraft, named after the founder of quantum physics, Max Planck, works below the CMB temperature, which allows to obtain unique information about the temperature of radiation itself. The new data are certainly credible, physics believe.
European scientists, who observe the activities of Planck Telescope, promised to disclose more data before the end of 2014. It will then become clear whether the BICEP2 report proves the existence of primary gravitational waves, or the sensation, made in March by American scientists, was, in fact, a hoax.
Earlier, experts suggested that such a discovery would make the researchers of gravitational waves serious contenders for a Nobel Prize. The inflation theory was first voiced in 1979 by young Soviet scientist (currently a senior researcher at the Institute for Theoretical Physics named after Lev Landau), Alexei Starobinsky. In 1981, Alan Guth of the USA used the term “cosmological inflation”, and in 1982, Moscow physicist Andrei Linde proposed his model of a new theory. Last year, Starobinsky received a prestigious Gruber prize.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned of the potential consequences of Russia’s gas dispute with Ukraine for Europe’s energy security.
Putin highlighted the issue during a phone conversation with French President Francois Hollande and German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Thursday.
“They… discussed the potential consequences for Europe’s energy security and economy of the failure of negotiations with Kiev on the settlement of its debt for Russian gas deliveries,” A Kremlin statement said.
Putin also voiced “serious concern” over Ukraine’s military operation against pro-Russian groups in the east.
The French presidency also said in a statement that the three discussed the importance of securing a “rapid end” to the fighting in Ukraine’s eastern cities in order to create the conditions for “a genuine de-escalation” of the crisis.
Russia has cut off all gas supplies to Ukraine after Kiev failed to make a USD 1.95-billion payment of its 5.2-billion debt before the June 16 deadline and the pricing dispute between the two countries came to an end without any results.
Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said at the World Petroleum Congress on Thursday that gas talks with Ukraine might resume only after Ukrainian state gas company Naftogaz pays its 1.454 billion debt for gas supplies in November and December 2013.
“There will be no talks before that,” Novak said.
European leaders are concerned over the gas dispute as Ukraine is a transit for over 30 percent of Russia’s natural gas exports to Europe.

Senate Democrats are standing behind Obama and his “limited plan to reengage in Iraq” in a declared effort to prevent the country from falling to ISIS fanatics trained by the U.S. government.
Officials told Politico targeted military strikes against ISIS in Syria are also “on the table.”
Democrats consider the former al-Qaeda affiliate a threat to U.S. national security. “We have to think about our national security interests first and foremost and from my perspective ISIS is a national security threat,” said New Jersey Democrat Sen. Bob Menendez, the chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee.
“I support President Obama’s decision to deploy a very limited number of advisers to Iraq for a non-combat training mission. This decision gives America the flexibility to take precise action against threats to our national security and keeps Iraqi authorities accountable for maintaining the security of their own country,” said Democrat Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.
Reid made his comment after Obama said “we will be prepared to take targeted and precise military action, if and when we determine that the situation on the ground requires it.”

On Tuesday, Democrats argued Obama does not need congressional approval to launch attacks in Iraq and Syria. Maryland House Democrat Majority Whip Steny Hoyer mentioned a 2002 law authorizing then President Bush’s use of military force in Iraq.
“Under the existing authorization for the use of force, I think they have that [power],” said Hoyer.
Other Democrats were more reluctant. “I certainly believe that the president always has to get congressional approval,” said Sen. Tim Kaine, a member of the Foreign Relations Committee. “If there’s an emergency, you may need to come back and get a congressional ratification. That’s the way the process is supposed to work.”
“If he’s asking for any sustained authorization, he’s got to go Congress. I think the Iraq AUMF is functionally obsolete,” added Connecticut Democrat Senator Chris Murphy.
Since the end of the Second World War the United States has deployed thousands of military advisers around the world. The Pentagon sent advisory personnel to Vietnam, Central America, Korea, Haiti, Bosnia, Afghanistan and other countries.
Between 1955 and 1960, the U.S. between 750 and 1,500 military advisors assisting the Diem government in South Vietnam. In 1961, the Kennedy administration increased this number to 3,200 advisors. Following the Gulf of Tonkin false flag in 1964 and an overwhelmingly passed joint House and Senate resolution, the Johnson administration began a full-scale war in Vietnam. In 1965 there was 200,000 troops in Vietnam and by 1968 more than 500,000 were committed.

Cars skid in the water in the flooded area of the Black sea town of Varna, Bulgaria, Thursday, June 19, 2014.
At least ten people have died and several are missing after heavy rain and flooding hit Bulgaria’s northeastern city of Varna.
Ivan Portnih, the mayor of Varna, said heavy rainfall in the Black Sea resort city triggered a flood wave late on Thursday in one of its low-lying suburbs, killing at least 10 people in the area.
Vehicles were carried away by the floods and streets and houses were demolished in the port city.
“The tragedy is enormous. I am here on a street in the suburb of Aspruhovo. The street is not here, the houses are not here, there are cars on top of each other,” Portnih added.
Varna’s mayor also said the electricity was cut off in the area and that it will not be restored anytime soon for safety reasons.
According to local reports, several other people are missing. Authorities say the death toll is expected to rise.
There have also been hailstorms and heavy rain in other parts of Bulgaria in recent days.
Police said, firefighters evacuated 11 people from the roofs of their houses in the town of Kilifarevo in central Bulgaria. Thunderstorms and torrential rains also flooded roads and damaged houses in several villages near the capital city of Sofia.
Weather forecasters have warned that new rainfall and thunderstorms are expected in northern and eastern Bulgaria on Friday.
Earlier in May, neighboring Balkan countries Serbia, Bosnia and Croatia were hit by the heaviest rainfall and floods that have been unprecedented in 120 years. At least 40 people were killed and hundreds of thousands have been affected by the flooding.

President Putin ordered increased security on the Russian-Ukrainian border a few weeks ago, and so Moscow is surprised by allegations about the concentration of Russian troops on its frontiers, Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
“We are surprised by such claims about the concentration of Russian troops on the Ukrainian border. In this case, it’s not about any concentration of military forces, but about the measures to fortify the borders of the Russian Federation, the measures ordered directly by President Putin,” Peskov said.
Peskov said that the order was issued a few weeks ago and “received approval from European leaders.”
Presidential aide Yury Ushakov has said that President Vladimir Putin informed French President Francois Hollande and German Chancellor Angela Merkel about the steps Russia is taking.
Peskov declared that the measures at the border were taken due to the fact that “the cases of its breach, including the violations using military equipment, have become more frequent.”
“Concerning the quantity of the military forces, it’s determined by the requirements to ensure a sufficient level of security at the border,” he added.
On Thursday, NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said that there was a military build-up of Russian troops on Ukraine’s eastern border.
Rasmussen called the build-up “a regrettable step backward” and claimed that the troops “don’t appear to be engaged in ‘border patrol’ duties.”
“We now see a new Russian military build-up around the Ukrainian border. At least a few thousand more Russian troops are now deployed,” Rasmussen said in London.
“It seems Russia keeps the option open to intervene further in Ukraine,” he said. “The international community would have to respond in a firm manner if Russia were to intervene further in Ukraine.”
Border row
On Friday, Ukrainian troops finished their operation to fortify the eastern border of the country with Russia, Ukrainian parliament speaker Aleksandr Turchinov said.
The National Security Council did not confirm the information, however.
“If the border was under the control of our troops, then we would give this news first, and this would mean a stage of victory and the transition to the president’s plan. Now that it’s not happening, we just speak about the dynamic of taking our territory under control,” the representative of the Security Council, Vladimir Chepovoy, told journalists.
The press service of the Donetsk People’s Republic also denied Turchinov’s claim.
“Concerning the borders of the Donetsk People’s Republic, it’s absolutely against reality. It’s just another disinformation needed because of the complete failure of the special operation of the Ukrainian troops in the Lugansk People’s Republic,” he said.
Lugansk authorities denied the information as well, calling the reports “complete nonsense.”
A few days earlier, the Ukrainian parliament called on President Petro Poroshenko to carry out the unilateral demarcation of state borders and to close the checkpoints on the Ukrainian-Russian border.
Demarcation, the process of determining the border between two states, cannot be carried out unilaterally, Russia has said.
However, there have been no signs from the Ukrainian forces that the borders will be closed, the Border Service said.
Checkpoint “Shebekino-Pletenyovka”, though, remains closed for Russians. Ukrainian border officials say that it’s due to last until June 26, but haven’t indicated the reasons behind it.

Germany’s Foreign Intelligence Agency (BND), in an effort to come clean in these compromised post-Snowden times, has revealed that a number of mysterious facilities dotting Germany are in fact used as spy stations.
Strike one in the victory column for the conspiracy theorists.
After many years of denying it had any connection with organizations such as the Ionosphere Institute, and snubbing website “conspiracy” claims to the contrary, the BND admitted the mysterious complexes were in fact poorly concealed surveillance stations.
One of the facilities, previously known as the Telecommunications Traffic Office of the German Armed Forces, in Bad Aibling, near Munich, had its hitherto secret identity betrayed by massive golf ball-shaped radomes on its lawn.
The German intelligence-gathering agency held a ceremony at the complex on Friday to unveil a brass nameplate declaring its real purpose.

BND chief Gerhard Schindler admitted it was time to give up the ruse.
“It makes no sense, to give a simple example, that external sites of the BND are run with covert names if the fact that they belong to the BND can be read on the internet,” Schindler acknowledged recently.
“If there’s one thing that the man on the street will remember from the whole NSA debate in Germany, it’s that the satellite ground stations in Bad Aibling belong to the BND,” he added.

The six spy facilities are officially linked to the agency’s signals intelligence work which eavesdrops on radio, data and phone traffic.
Friday was a busy day for the spy agencies, as Vodafone, the world’s second largest mobile phone company, admitted it had allowed the intelligence agencies from almost 30 countries the power to listen in on customer conversations.
The UK-based company released on the same day a 40,000-word Law Enforcement Disclosure Report, which has been labeled “the most comprehensive survey yet of how governments monitor the conversations and whereabouts of their people,” the Guardian reported.

Felipe VI has become the new king of Spain after his father, King Juan Carlos, abdicated to pave the way for his son to take over as his successor.
Felipe, 46, took the Spanish crown early Thursday as an act of parliament signed by his father came into force.
Carlos,76, signed his abdication on Wednesday in a short ceremony in favor of his son. Carlos reigned as Spain’s king after 39 years.
His abdication comes as his family has been hit with a series of corruption scandals.
Also Juan Carlos’ daughter, Princess Cristina, and her husband, Inaki Urdangarin, are under investigation in a fraud case for the embezzlement of public funds.
The scandals have angered Spaniards as they are grappling with their worst economic crisis since the World War II.
A 25-percent unemployment rate and the independence seeking of the country’s Catalonia region are the main challenges for the new king.
This also comes at a time when Spain has been the scene of anti-monarchy protests.
Thousands of protesters gathered in the streets of the capital Madrid on June 8 and urged the abolition of monarchy.

Longtime readers of Natural News know that, because of massive over-prescribing by the modern healthcare industry, today’s crop of antibiotics are becoming less and less effective. Another culprit: The increased use of antibiotics in factory-farm animals.
“It is not difficult to make microbes resistant to penicillin in the laboratory by exposing them to concentrations not sufficient to kill them,” warned Alexander Fleming, the creator of the first antibiotic, penicillin, back in 1945 when he received his Nobel Prize for medicine. “There is the danger that the ignorant man may easily underdose himself and by exposing his microbes to non-lethal quantities of the drug make them resistant.”
And while bacteria have been a part of “life” on Earth for humans since the dawn of time, constant exposure to antibiotics — which kill even “good” bacteria — is responsible for the rise of superbugs that are resistant to an increasing number antibiotic drugs.
With that in mind, and before you find yourself in dire need of something that will kill the superbugs, here are 10 herbs and foods that will do the job naturally:
– Honey: In a recently released study, researchers from the Salve Regina University in Newport, Rode Island, reaffirmed that raw honey is one of the best natural antibiotics you can have.
Lead author Susan M. Meschwitz, Ph.D., presented the findings at the 247th National Meeting of the American Chemical Society.
“The unique property of honey lies in its ability to fight infection on multiple levels, making it more difficult for bacteria to develop resistance,” she said.
Honey uses a combination of weapons including polyphenols, hydrogen peroxide and an osmotic effect. Honey is practically an ambidextrous fighter, using multiple modalities to kill bacteria.
– Colloidal silver: As noted by Gregory A. Gore, in his book, Defeat Cancer:
Silver was used 1,200 years ago by Egyptians, Romans, Greeks, sailors, and then by the pioneers who populated our country. They used it for various illnesses and to keep their foods and liquids from spoiling. Prior to 1938, before antibiotics, colloidal silver was used by doctors as their main substance to fight bacteria in a more natural way than through the antibiotics they use today. Antibiotics can harm our kidneys and liver functions. Colloidal silver promotes healing.
– Pascalite: This is a type of bentonite clay found only in the mountains of Wyoming. It possesses remarkable healing powers. When it is used topically, it is known for its ability to draw infections from wounds in a matter of hours or days, thereby bringing about total recovery. The first recorded use of Pascalite was in the early 1930s when a trapper named Emile Pascal set his traps near a cold, clear mountain lake, where he had noticed a large number of animal tracks; after getting some of it on his chapped hands, he noticed some time later that it appeared to help them. So he continued to experiment with the substance and found that it had a number of topical uses, including for burns, minor wounds and infections.
– Turmeric: This herb has been used in Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine for many thousands of years to treat a wide range of infections. The antibacterial and anti-inflammatory qualities have been known to be highly effective in the treatment of bacterial infections. It can also be used topically for MRSA and additional lesions of the skin.
– Oil of Oregano: This is an essential oil known best for its bacteria-killing abilities, as well as controlling staph infections like MRSA. It contains antioxidant, antiseptic, antiviral, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, antiparasitic and pain-relieving properties. In 2001, Science Daily reported on a Georgetown University study which found that oregano oil’s germ-killing properties were nearly as effective as most antibiotics.
– Tea tree oil: This is also a very potent and essential oil that has been shown to be effective in killing antibiotic-resistant MRSA on the skin. One important note: Therapeutic-grade tea tree oil must be used undiluted if it is to be used for this purpose.
– Olive leaf extract: This substance has been used for a number of centuries to battle bacterial infections and is now currently being used as well to fight MRSA infections in some European hospitals. It provides immune system support while fighting antibiotic-resistant infections.
– Garlic: This tasteful seasoning veggie has been used for medicinal purposes around the world for thousands of years. It was even used in the 1700s to ward off the plague. It possesses very potent antibiotic, antiviral and antifungal properties.
– Echinacea: This compound has been used to treat aging and a wide variety of infections for centuries. It was traditionally used to treat open wounds, as well as blood poisoning, diphtheria and other bacteria-related illnesses. Today, it is used mostly to treat colds and flu.
– Goldenseal: This is one of the most popular herbs sold on the American market and has recently gained a reputation as an herbal antibiotic and immune system enhancer. American Indians used goldenseal as a medication for inflammatory internal conditions such as respiratory, digestive and genitourinary tract inflammation induced by allergy or infection, according to Herbwisdom.com.

US observers, who monitored the June 3 presidential election in Syria, have said that President Bashar al-Assad’s victory is legitimate, and an expression of the people’s will.
Members of the Independent US Observer Mission, Paul Larudee, Joe Iosbaker, Judy Bello, Scott Williams and Jane Stillwater, made the remarks on Wednesday during a press conference at the United Nations headquarters in New York.
The group was part of an international observer mission with delegates from 32 countries.
The observers described the election in Syria as successful, free and transparent. They endorsed the poll as an affirmation of the will of the Syrian people.
They further noted that the massive turnout at the election showed Syrians want peace, democracy and self-rule.
“I’d like to say that I found the Syrian election to be an extraordinary affirmation of the will of the Syrian people. Although the outcome was never in doubt, the Syrians abroad overwhelmed their embassies or flew thousands of miles for the opportunity to vote,” said Paul Larudee, a member of the Independent US Observer Mission.
“In Syria, they came to the polls in vast numbers to demonstrate their support. Clearly, the Syrian people intended to send a message that they support their current government. Well, we got their message,” added.
Joe Iosbaker, another member of the US mission, said that the Syrian election is “a defeat for the United States, for NATO, for the Zionists, and [Persian] Gulf states, and a victory for the Syrians.”
On June 4, it was announced that Assad won 88.7 percent of the vote in the presidential election.
Following the announcement, crowds took to streets throughout the country to celebrate the victory of the incumbent president.
Assad, MP Maher al-Hajjar, and businessman Hassan al-Nouri were competing for the top post.
Syria has been gripped by deadly violence since March 2011. Over 160,000 people have reportedly been killed and millions displaced due to the violence fueled by the foreign-backed militants.
According to reports, the Western powers and their regional allies — especially Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey — are supporting the militants operating inside Syria.

Pope Francis has called on “greedy” bankers to establish a stricter ethics code, and stop getting rich through financial market speculation. He attacked the practice of hedging as ‘intolerable’ equating it to stealing food from the poor.
“It is increasingly intolerable that financial markets are shaping the destiny of peoples rather than serving their needs, or that the few derive immense wealth from financial speculation while the many are deeply burdened by the consequences,” Pope Francis said at an investors ethics’ seminar at the Vatican on Monday.
Specifically, the pope denounced the practice of betting on the price of commodities such as corn, meat, and rice, which can drive up food prices and trigger periods of starvation in parts of the worlds.
“Speculation on food prices is a scandal which seriously compromises access to food on the part of the poorest members of our human family,” he said.
This Pope called for an end to this “scandal” and said that finance institutions should serve the interests of all mankind, and not just wealthy and privileged individuals.
Pope Francis has been more vocal than any other Pope on the modern superstructure of wealth, which in his first major published work as a Pope, The Joy of the Gospel, he slammed as a “new tyranny” and called on the rich to share their wealth. In the same speech he equated not sharing wealth with the poor to stealing.
