Yemeni army soldiers backed by members of the Popular Committees have managed to foil an attack launched by Saudi naval forces on Yemen’s strategic port city of Aden in the south.
Local sources, requesting anonymity, said more than 50 Saudi naval vessels participated in the Tuesday attack on Aden, situated about 346 kilometers (214 miles) south of the capital, Sana’a.
A number of Saudi soldiers were killed during the fighting, while some others sustained injuries, the sources said.
Yemeni forces have also succeeded in seizing one of the attacking vessels, taking its crew members captive.
The sources further noted that this is the second failed attack by the Saudi navy on Aden over the past few days.
Meanwhile, Saudi warplanes have launched three aerial attacks on the Jazirat al-Ummal district of Aden. There were no immediate reports on possible casualties and the extent of casualties inflicted.
Late on Sunday, Saudi military aircraft carried out over thirty airstrikes on Aden’s civil airport within a few hours.
The Saudi warplanes struck the governor’s office in Crater district of the city earlier in the day.
Saudi Arabia launched its military aggression against Yemen on March 26 – without a UN mandate – in a bid to undermine the Houthis and to restore power to the country’s fugitive former president, Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, who is a staunch ally of Riyadh.
On April 21, Riyadh announced the end of the first phase of its unlawful military operation, but airstrikes have continued with Saudi bombers targeting different areas across the country in a new phase.
On May 1, the World Health Organization said over 1,244 people lost their lives and 5,044 others were injured in Yemen from March 19 to April 27.
Hundreds of women and children are among the victims, according to the United Nations health agency.

Iranian Defense Minister Hossein Dehkan has repeatedly expressed what he was expecting from BRICS members that would will actively resist NATO’s uncontrolled eastward expansion and the creation of the missile defense system in Europe. At the same time, defense ministers of Russia and China emphasize the priority of cooperation between the two countries in the military sphere.
Washington is trying to put pressure on China in the Asia-Pacific region, while putting pressure on Russia as well – from Eastern Europe and on Iran – from the Near East. In response, Moscow, Beijing and Tehran are working on a strategic alliance. This “new great game” is on a par with the development of the “New Silk Road” project, Pepe Escobar said.
In turn, President of the Academy of Geopolitical Problems, Colonel-General Leonid Ivashov, told Pravda.Ru: “The West has felt the seriousness of our intentions to defend our interests. Commander of NATO forces in Europe, US General Philip Breedlove, set NATO forces at a high degree of readiness. They wanted to flex muscles. We have responded to them by flexing our own muscles.”

Why you should care about Jade Helm: facts the mainstream media buried in its reporting.
A mainstream news station contacted Infowars requesting information about Jade Helm, to which David Knight responded in extreme detail, but the station ignored the facts he provided and spun concerns over the controversial military drill as “paranoid.”
“When KVUE contacted me and we spoke verbally, they said they were looking to do a fear vs. fact piece,” Knight said, who spent 30 minutes on the phone with the Austin, Texas, station and e-mailed them extensive information about Jade Helm. “I tried to give them the facts, but ABC apparently wanted to emphasize the fear, label it ‘paranoia’ and ignore the facts.”
But in the interest of giving the public full access to the facts regarding Jade Helm, instead of allowing mainstream media to bury them to the government’s benefit, we have published below the e-mail exchange between Knight and KVUE, which the station never used in its reporting.
KVUE: 1) If Jade Helm 15 is not a training exercise, what do you believe Jade Helm 15 is? Why? Where are documents/proof?
David Knight: There’s been a concerted effort to deliberately misrepresent what we’ve said. Thank you for being one of the few outlets to contact us for comment. Most articles have proceeded to build a strawman and then tear it apart.
We first reported on Jade Helm on March 22. The Drudge Report picked up the story and the Jade Helm document but establishment media ignored it until this week. There has been a media frenzy mischaracterizing our concerns in the last couple of days.
We never said this was going to be martial law. But given the history of 9/11, 7/7 (the London subway bombing) and other drills where first responders were involved in a training exercise and a real attack happens at exactly the same time, place and manner as the training scenario, we should keep a watchful eye on any training exercise outside of military bases.
Infowars has documented this for years with films, articles and government documents, like this article from six years ago from the Missouri Information Analysis Center. MIAC is a federal “Fusion Center” that informs LEOs of threats. The document conflates supporters of Ron Paul, Chuck Baldwin, Bob Barr, and opponents of NAFTA with the Oklahoma City bombing and Waco and implies that they are terrorists.
Jade Helm is a multi-state exercise, involving all branches of special forces and lasting for two months. [Training in] Texas, Utah and a small part of California and labeling these “red states” as “hostile” in the exercise looks like it carries on with the Southern Poverty Law Center’s narrative of fear that has been frequently embraced by Homeland Security and the military. This is our original report on Jade Helm and has the document/slides attached.
The military has many military bases. They have Asymmetric Warfare training centers within some military bases like the ones at A.P. Hill & Lejune. These training centers replicate key areas of American cities for urban warfare training down to the details of working traffic lights and street signs. Taxpayers paid over $96 million for the A.P. Hill Asymmetric Training Center that opened last fall. Why, with all the military bases and asymmetric training centers and land under federal control, must they train in actual American cities for the training to be realistic?
KVUE: 2) Seems you believe the military isn’t being truthful. Why is that?
DK: We’ve never gotten satisfactory explanations as to why the military continues to train against conservatives, libertarians, tea party, Christians, veterans, etc. as homegrown terrorists.
And in spite of being criticized for doing so, in the recent dirty bomb drill in Richmond, Calif., the soldiers practiced crowd control and role players taunted the soldiers and identified themselves as “sovereign citizens” rather than working on victims.
The story went national when the Drudge Report picked up our article. The military’s initial response was to pretend that the document didn’t exist. They also said they couldn’t view the document as our site was blocked for the military (they block it [themselves]). But Drudge also linked to the Jade Helm document/slides on Scribd. They could have addressed it directly, but they chose a prevarication.
At the [public] meeting in Bastrop, Texas, the Lt. Col. [Mark Lastoria] chose to spin the exercise as taking place solely on private property, at the invitation of property owners and anyone who had a problem with that, had a problem with private property. In other words, it’s none of your business.
The reality is that private property owners did not initiate this. And if you read the military’s own document, it begins with a Statement of Purpose:
“[the army] seeks a written invitation and approval from local officials to conduct Realistic Military Training (RMT) within their jurisdictions for joint military exercise, JADE HELM 15”
Note that they were seeking permission (written invitation) from local government officials. Why is it the business of the government officials if it’s taking place on private property? And the term “invitation” is disingenuous when the military is pressuring local officials and private property owners for an “invitation.”
The Lt. Col. portrays this as nothing to be concerned about. Yet in the document they presented to local Texas officials, it appears that they are going to be in public places doing suspicious things. Here are quotes from the document describing the exercise:
“…operating in and around communities where anything out of the ordinary will be spotted and reported (Locals are the first to notice something out of place)…”
“…some individuals may conduct suspicious activities…”
“…some participants will be wearing civilian attire and driving civilian vehicles…”
KVUE: 3) Is this something people should be taking action on protecting themselves or something simply to monitor?
DK: This is a very leading question. We’ve never said this is a takeover and people should be violent. We’ve said it should be monitored and people should be politically aware of what the real purpose is.
KVUE: 4) Does Gov. Abbott’s promise to have the Texas State Guard monitor the training ease your mind? Why/why not?
DK: The state should always monitor federal activities. That’s the federal system.

While Beijing is seeking to link its growing economic power to geopolitical ambition, Washington is still refusing to treat China as an equal; the US, stuck in its “old thinking,” risks aggravating tensions with China, Philip Stephens warned.
Washington is not ready to concede its superiority to Beijing in Asia, and since neither side wants a cold war, the best offer on the table is a “frosty peace,” Philip Stephens, an author and a political expert, pointed out.
“The terms of the global order during the 21st century will be set above all by the three ‘C’s in the Sino-American relationship. So far co-operation and competition have sat uneasily alongside each other, but there is only a short distance to the third C, conflict,” Philip Stephens underscored.
The authors stressed that it is clear that Beijing has got rid of “any residual inhibitions about staking out China’s claims.”
Indeed, the Chinese leadership has recently launched a series of ambitious infrastructural projects in Asia, strengthened its presence in the South China Sea, and established the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), considered by experts as a potential alternative to the US-led Bretton Woods financial institutions.
Although China does not plan to expel the United States from East Asia in the near future, it is obvious that the region’s powers will soon gain control of their geopolitical affairs, “presumably with China’s leadership,” the author highlighted.
According to China’s officials, the West is stuck in its old thinking; Washington’s network of bilateral alliances, on the other hand, is just a “hangover from the cold war.”
However, the US is not ready to treat China as equals or co-opt it as a stakeholder in the present world order, the expert pointed out. Furthermore, America’s political elite is urging the government to play a more active policy-making role in Asia.
Citing the Carnegie scholar Ashley Tellis, Mr. Stephens pointed out that the US political establishment is intended “to draw together all the elements of US power” in order to maintain America’s “primacy” in East Asia.
“Primacy is the neuralgic word here for some US allies as much as for Beijing. The legitimacy of the US presence in the western Pacific rests on the simple fact that many other governments want it to remain as a counter to China,” Philip Stephens stressed.
At the same time, facts on the ground indicate that Asian powers, neighboring with China, have a strong lucrative interest in getting on with Beijing.
That means that Washington’s efforts to establish its own “world order” in that part of the globe could lead to a serious conflict of interests.
Referring to ancient Greek political philosopher Thucydides and his statement regarding the Peloponnesian war, Philip Stephens suggested that Sino-American relations could deteriorate tremendously resulting “inexorably” in conflict.
Since neither side wants to be engaged in a direct military confrontation or a cold war, it seems that the best offer on the table may be a “distinctly frosty peace” between Beijing and Washington, the expert concluded.

In a new report circulating in the Kremlin today prepared by the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), intelligence analysts are stating that the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL/ISIS) attack that took place yesterday inGarland, Texas, yesterday was carried out by the same terror cell linked to the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) that is currently conducting the largest bio-attack upon America that nation has ever seen.
According to this report, since early April, the SVR and Ministry of Healthcare (MoH) have been monitoring this CIA-ISIS plot to catastrophically destroy the United States poultry industry with man-made avian influenza viruses and have identified a number of the ISIS-CIA terror “operatives” to include Elton Simpson, who was also under US domestic intelligence agency surveillance.
As Simpson was under continuous SVR electronic surveillance too, this report continues, intelligence analysts became “alarmed” yesterday when he posted a message on his Twitter account 20 minutes before the Garland attackusing the hash tag “#texasattack” that said: “The bro with me and myself have given bay-ah to Amirul Mu’mineen. May Allah accept us as mujahideen. Make dua”


Upon SVR analysts receiving this Twitter message posted by Simpson, this report says, “immediate and proper” protocols were followed which included the notification to US intelligence agencies that an attack upon them may be imminent as prior ISIS messages of this type have nearly all led to suicide attacks.
Within 30 minutes of the Americans receiving this SVR warning of a potential ISIS suicide attack, this report continues, Simpson, and an as yet unnamed ISIS terrorist, were reported by Western media sources to have been shot and killed after they attempted to attack the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland that was holding a “draw Muhammad” art contest hosted by the American Freedom Defense Initiative.
To the exact details of this ISIS attack Western media sources reported that yesterday, around 0100 GMT 4 May (7:00 PM local time 3 May) Simpson and his ISIS accomplice pulled up to the Curtis Culwell Center hosting this event in a vehicle and shot a Garland Independent School District Security guard in the ankle. These ISIS terrorists were then shot and killed by Garland police.
Most important to note about Simpson, SVR analysts in this report state, is that he had been previously indentified as being one of the guards at the CIA-ISIS field laboratories located around eight miles from the American border in an area known as “Anapra” situated just west of Ciudad Juárez in the Mexican state of Chihuahua.
This report further notes that the SVR had also previously confirmed that drone video evidence provided by the US News Service Infowars did indeed show the exact locations of these CIA-ISIS field laboratories that created these avian flu viruses in a heavily fortified mosque and desert testing facility/compound, both located in Chihuahua.




To how fully and catastrophic this CIA-ISIS avian flu bio attack upon the United States has been, this report continues, that nation’s largest egg-producing state, Iowa, has become the latest State to declare a state of emergency following a major outbreak of this feared and deadly disease.
The NPR News Service also, it’s important to note the SVR says, states that US scientists are now struggling with how this pandemic grew so fast and large as they thought they had a pretty decent understanding of how this virus could spread, but the way it is moving right now has really caused them to rethink some of those ideas they had.


Especially vexing to US authorities, this report says, is why this disease is ravaging commercial poultry flocks, even amid heightened biosecurity measures, while at the same time widespread deaths in largely unprotected backyard flocks are not even occurring.
What these US authorities are failing to comprehend, however, the SVR says in their report, is that the only way this disease could have spread to now being the largest outbreak of its kind in all of American history can only be explained by understanding that it is being deliberately spread.
Even worse, this SVR report warns, with the H5N2 strain of this avian flu now being reported in Arkansas, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Washington and Wisconsin and on farms in Ontario, Canada, and when combined with the H5N8 strain that has been identified in California and also in Idaho, the “deliberate merging” of these deadly strains into a much more dangerous variant is only a matter of time.
And to the most apocalyptic scenario facing the Untied States, this report grimly warns, is when these H5N2 and H5N8 avian flu variants finally “combine” with the rapidly mutating H7N9 avian flu virus that is deadly to humans, isnow spreading through China, and scientists warn is about to emerge into a full-blown pandemic.
To the Obama regime being behind this massive CIA-ISIS bio-attack plot in order to sow terror throughout all of America over fears relating to a pandemic outbreak, the SVR noted in a previous report, a series of “embedded” subliminal messages have begun showing up on American television the past few weeks…including a new American Association for Retired Persons (AARP) commercial where in the background a public service announcement news report about “riots nationwide” and a declaration of martial law by government emergency services barely audibly says:
“Riots nationwide have prompted local governments to declare martial law.
The President is asking that citizens find safety and remain calm.
Authorities are working to contain the outbreak.”

Though the Obama regimes Ad Council which aired this subliminal television spot stated that the pro bono ad agency that created this video used a pre-existing fictional vintage audio file as ambient background noise to invoke an earlier era… the Infowars News Service more correctly responds about this by stating:
“The Ad Council’s explanation that the “vintage” audio was intended to “invoke an earlier era” also fails the logic test. There has been no “earlier era” in the United States where martial law was declared after “nationwide riots.” Indeed, this is very much a contemporary concern given the aftermath of Ferguson, Missouri and what happened this week in Baltimore.”
