Saab completes smoke testing of LEDS
Saab has completed smoke testing of its third generation High Speed Directed Launcher (HSDL-306) system, part of its Land Electronic Defence System (LEDS), in a bid to improve its offerings for ground vehicles and anti-tank weapon defence systems. Harris to provide field support services for ADF Falcon radios The Australia Department of Defence has awarded a contract to Harris to provide customer field support for its Falcon family of tactical communication systems, as part of a tactical radio modernisation programme. Japan could intercept North Korean rocket The Japanese Defence Ministry has ordered its missile units to intercept the long-range rocket, Unha-3, which is expected to be launched by North Korea between 12 and 16 April 2012, if it flies over Japan. Harris to deliver Falcon radios for undisclosed Middle East customer Harris has been awarded a contract for the delivery of its Falcon III family of tactical communication solutions and associated equipment for the security forces of an undisclosed Middle East customer. |
