US approves annual military aid for Egypt
The Pentagon has formally approved the release of $1.3bn in annual military assistance to Egypt, despite its failure to meet sufficient pro-democracy conditions. MDA awards THAAD follow-on development contract to Lockheed Lockheed Martin has been awarded an Advanced Capability Development (ACD) follow-on contract to continue development of the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) weapon system.
