ADF to receive additional Carl-Gustaf ammunition from Saab
Saab has been awarded a contract by the Australian Defence Materiel Organisation (DMO) for the supply of additional ammunition for 84mm Carl-Gustaf M3 weapon systems. Remington to supply M4 / M4A1 carbines to US Army The US Army Contracting Command (ACC) has awarded a contract to Remington Arms Company for the supply of a maximum of 120,000 M4 / M4A1 carbines to help enhance its capabilities. US Army contracts Lockheed for additional AN/TPQ-53 radars Lockheed Martin has received a contract from the US Army for the production and delivery of AN/TPQ-53 (Q-53) counterfire target acquisition radars, which will provide soldiers with enhanced 360-degree protection from rocket, mortar and artillery fire. Lockheed PAC-3 missile intercepts cruise missile targets The Lockheed Martin-developed Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) missile has intercepted and destroyed a cruise missile target, using the joint land attack cruise missile defence elevated netted sensor (JLENS) and the Patriot system, over the Utah Test and Training Range in the US. |
