The consequences of “democratic socialism” have been disastrous: no food, no housing, no clothing, no fuel. To my British and American friends who must deal with the socialist nonsense of Bernie Sanders and Jeremy Corbyn, I found this poem. It was written by Rudyard Kipling, the writer most hated by English Socialists in the 40’s and an opponent to the interventionist policies implemented by the labor party after the second world war: In the Carboniferous Epoch we were promised abundance for all, By robbing selected Peter to pay for collective Paul; But, though we had plenty of money, there was nothing our money could buy, And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: “if you don’t ‘work you die. This poem is not an exaggeration. At the time, it was decreed by the Control of Engagement Order that “no man between the ages of 18 and 50, or woman between the ages of 18 and 40, can change occupations at will. The Minister of Labor has the power to direct such workers to the employment he considers best for the national interest.” This Order was abolished only in March 1950. At the time, the consequences of “democratic socialism” were disastrous: no food, no housing, no clothing, no fuel. By 1948, rations had fallen well below the wartime average. At the same date, one could read in The New Statesman, which was by no means a virulent opponent of Planning: “You may have social security, but you cannot go into a store and buy two quarts of milk” To which an English commentator replied: “You not only cannot buy two quarts of milk. You cannot buy one. You can only get two quarts of milk on your doorstep a week. If you try to get more you are apt to land in jail.” Planned chaos was the logical outcome of the foolish socialist policies implemented by the British government. J.T. Flynn, the great libertarian journalist, in his book The Road Ahead (1949) noticed the devastating effects of government intervention in housing. He wrote: The bombs and guided missiles that destroyed 300,000 British dwellings in World War II were not the worst enemies of British home ownership. That honor is reserved for the persons who advocated laws for “low-cost public housing” and for “cooperation” between government and private enterprise in housing for low income groups. Great Britain is spending as large a proportion of its income on housing as it did before the war, but it is getting barely half the number of homes. During 4 years after World War II, only 367,761 permanent houses were built, compared with a total of 2,500,000 in the 8 years before the war, of which 1,888,000 were built by private enterprise. Owing to the greater need for housing, and 300,000 dwellings having been made uninhabitable by the war, various types of housing and control acts were passed. But, inevitably, the more control, the less housing. In January, 1947, a great plan for affordable/free housing was announced by the government. It was supposed to furnish 250,000 houses in the year. The government went on with the plans and mobilized all sorts of resources: plaster, cement, plumbing, nails, brick and other materials necessary were ordered and produced. But after some times, it was discovered that lumber could not be supplied for more than 60,000 houses. The great plan failed miserably, falling short by 190,000 houses. In the meantime, all the other materials were being furiously produced and it was also discovered that there was not enough labor to produce them. Bricks, plaster and other things produced were pilling up, wasted for lack of buyers. The plan was a pathetic fiasco. Whether it is Sanders or Coryn, the policies they support will fail for the same reason socialism failed in the post WWII United Kingdom. One does not have to think much to understand the parallel between the “affordable housing” policies of the English labor party and the request for “free” education or health care. It will fail because governments cannot operate rational allocation of resources, because markets are necessary to the good functioning of an economy. In fact, “democratic socialism” was such a failure in post WWII England that a long-time member of the labor party, Alfred Edwards, had to admit: I have spent years discoursing on the defects of the Capitalist system. I do not withdraw those criticisms. But we have seen the two systems side by side. And the man who would still argue for socialism as the means of ridding our society of the defects of capitalism is blind indeed. Socialism just does not work. Bernie Sanders and Jeremy Corbyn may like post WWII England and its so-called “social policies”. The truth however is that no one really wants to go back to a time were government was running every aspect of your life, to a time were shortages, rather than prosperity, was the rule. Source |

The Cruz camp can’t win enough votes at the ballot box so they’re stealing them at the state level. Such good Christian conservatives. Cruz supporters are asking bloggers to stalk the delegates in Colorado. Dear Influential Conservative Blogger, I found a list of names and phone numbers for Colorado delegates, of which a huge number are unbound. I did reverse phone searches and came up with a list of mailing addresses for a lot of these unbound delegates. I wrote letters to them saying that Cruz has been most consistent about re-negotiating the Iran deal, and that they should vote for him. Perhaps you and your followers can do the same. Attached is a list of unbound delegates for Colorado, and their mailing addresses. I also noted their phone numbers in case you think that’s better. (Personally I don’t. Some of them might be on do not call lists.) Regards, Alex S. And— Cruz supporters in St. Louis sent out this letter describing how they plan on stealing delegates in Missouri on Saturday. Dear Cruz supporter and true friend of freedom, Saturday is caucus day in Missouri to select the first round of delegates to ultimately go to Cleveland. As you probably know, the first vote in 5 of the Congressional districts are pledged to Trump and in the other 3 to Cruz. HOWEVER, on the second ballot should those delegates at the Congressional District Caucuses on April 30 and the State Convention on May 20-21 in Branson be Cruz supporters, and we do this across the nation, Ted Cruz can win the nomination on the second ballot. HOW CAN YOU HELP? Attend the local Caucus in your local county/township. Go to the State Republican Party web site (https://www.missouri.gop/ THIS SATURDAY 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. is the next critical time to help Ted. Hope to see you at a victorious state convention in May, Bev E. Reader Carrie had this to say about Cruz and the GOP establishment’s delegate theft. I believe that the delegates are there to represent the voters and not themselves. This is a point that has not been discussed enough. Thousands of people vote for a candidate, and the delegates are their proxy to the convention. The delegates therefore should represent their voters through any number of rounds of voting, UNTIL THEIR CANDIDATE IS ELIMINATED. Then they can be freed to vote for someone else. This is the moral argument against what Cruz is doing. Some people may have put in rules to try to cancel the moral obligation, but since when do written rules ever replace morals and duty? This argument was thrashed out at Nuremberg when people said they were just following orders (ie the rules). However, the judgement said that that was not good enough. Particularly with the large segment of the Republican party being Christians, this moral obligation has to be higher than any man made rules. Another point is that of Ted Cruz and his cohorts, placing weak people in moral danger. These people are being encouraged to go against fair play, and honesty, to portray themselves, and to offer themselves, as Trump supporters, living a lie. What effects is this having on their souls? I do think that much can be made of this angle to put pressure on these delegates. The argument they are running now is that Cruz is smarter than Trump. It needs to be countered on the high ground of Christian morality, of loving your neighbour, not being smart a*ses to your neighbour and cheating them. Source |

It’s going to be hard for the Republicans to field a presidential candidate as enthusiastic about the H-1B visa as U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas). Cruz, who announced his presidential bid this morning, once proposed an immediate increase in the base H-1B cap from 65,000 to 325,000. Cruz offered the H-1B increase as an amendment in 2013 to the Senate’s comprehensive immigration bill. Cruz’s amendment was defeated by the Senate’s Judiciary Committee, which approved an 180,000 H-1B cap increase in the comprehensive immigration bill. The House never acted on this legislation. Cruz’s H-1B amendment, however, proposed increasing H-1B fees from $1,500 to $2,500 for those with 25 employees or more. The money would be used to create block grants to promote STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) education. During the Senate committee debate, Cruz said imposing restrictions on the visa was unnecessary, but said he would support restrictions if the Judiciary Committee – then debating the bill – would agree to his cap recommendation. Among the restrictions in the Senate bill was a provision aimed at large offshore outsourcing providers that limited their use of H-1B or L-1 visa workers to 50% of their workforce. Cruz is part of large group of politicians who will not acknowledge the H-1B’s visas use in offshore outsourcing or the reality of U.S. workers who are forced to train their visa-holding replacements. In defending this H-1B increase, Cruz cited a study by the American Enterprise Institute, which argued that visa workers create jobs. This organization primarily represents the views of large companies and asset management firms. Source |

Temple of Baal arches will be put in multiple large cities around the world. As a supposed act of defiance, The Institute of Digital Archaeology, Harvard University, and UNESCO are erecting 43 foot tall 23 foot wide Arches of the Temple of Baal in New York’s Times Square and London’s Trafalgar Square. The date to unveil the arches falls directly on the celebration of the all important pagan holiday Beltane, and anniversary of the massacre of The Branch Davidians at WACO and The Oklahoma City Bombing, April 19. Will A Gateway Be Opened When The Arch From The Temple Of Baal Is Reconstructed In Times Square? In April, part of the Temple of Baal that stood in Palmyra, Syria will be reconstructed in Times Square in New York City and in Trafalgar Square in London. The specific portion that is being erected in both cases is the 48-foot-tall arch that stood at the entrance to the temple. The Institute of Digital Archaeology is the organization behind this effort, and the display of these two arches is intended to be the highlight of UNESCO’s World Heritage Week late next month. After seeing my initial story, one of my readers observed that an arch is really just a gateway or a portal. In other words, it can serve as both an entrance and an exit. So could it be possible that we will be unknowingly setting up a gate or a portal of some sort in Times Square? The worship of Baal, also known as Bel, can be traced all the way back to ancient Babylon. According to the Encyclopedia Britannica, Marduk was “the chief god of the city of Babylon”, and ultimately he became known as “Bel” or “Lord”… Marduk, in Mesopotamian religion, the chief god of the city of Babylon and the national god of Babylonia; as such, he was eventually called simply Bel, or Lord. Originally, he seems to have been a god of thunderstorms. A poem, known as Enuma elish and dating from the reign of Nebuchadrezzar I(1124–03 bce), relates Marduk’s rise to such preeminence that he was the god of 50 names, each one that of a deity or of a divine attribute. After conquering the monster of primeval chaos, Tiamat, he became Lord of the Gods of Heaven and Earth. All nature, including man, owed its existence to him; the destiny of kingdoms and subjects was in his hands. And it is interesting to note that according to Wikipedia, the name of the city of Babylon is believed to have originally come from an Akkadian word that meant “Gate of God” or “Gateway of the God”… The English Babylon comes from Greek Babylṓn (Βαβυλών), a transliteration of the Akkadian Babili.[5] The Babylonian name in the early 2nd millennium BC had been Babilli or Babilla, which appears to be an adaption of an unknown original non-Semitic placename.[6] By the 1st millennium BC, it had changed to Babiliunder the influence of the folk etymology which traced it tobāb-ili (“Gate of God” or “Gateway of the God“).[7] So now we are setting up a “gateway” or a “portal” for the chief God of ancient Babylon in the heart of our most important city next month. Does anyone else out there find this more than just a little bit creepy? It just seems so surreal that an arch from the Temple of Baal that is nearly five stories high is going to be erected in Times Square in April. But this is actually happening. The following comes from the New York Times… NEXT month, the Temple of Baal will come to Times Square. Reproductions of the 50-foot arch that formed the temple’s entrance are to be installed in New York and in London, a tribute to the 2,000-year-old structure that the Islamic State destroyed last year in the Syrian town of Palmyra. The group’s rampage through Palmyra, a city that reached its peak in the second and third century A.D., enraged the world, spurring scholars and conservationists into action. This sounds like the plot for some really twisted episode of “Stargate” and not something that is supposed to happen in the real world. And as I reported yesterday, the Institute of Digital Archaeology hopes to put hundreds more of these arches in major cities all over the planet. What in the world are they thinking? If we want to take all of this to another level of creepiness, let’s recall what I talked about the other day. Baal evolved from the chief god of the city of ancient Babylon known as Marduk, and Marduk can be traced back to an actual historical person. This historical person was known in Sumerian literature as “King Enmerkar”, and in the Bible he was known as “Nimrod”. Here is a portion of a quote from Peter Goodgame that I included in an article the other day… Traditionally the Tower of Babel event has been associated with Nimrod, and Jewish commentaries as well as the Jewish historian Josephus both seem very emphatic on this point. Regarding the Sumerian name Enmer-kar, the suffix “kar” means “hunter,” and so “Enmer-kar” is in fact “Enmer the Hunter,” just as Nimrod is referred to as the “Mighty Hunter” in Genesis 10. Furthermore, Enmerkar is named on the Sumerian King List as “the one who built Uruk,” just as Nimrod is described in Genesis 10:10 as having a kingdom that began in “Babel (Eridu) and Erech (Uruk)… in the land of Shinar.” After Enmerkar’s death he became honored in Sumerian myth as the semi-divine hero Ninurta, and eventually this cult evolved into the great cult of Marduk, which became the state religion of Babylon after the conquests and religious innovations of Hammurabi. The cult of Marduk was the root of all of the ancient pagan religions of the Middle East, Egypt, Greece and Rome. In those other religions, the deity of Marduk came to be known by other names such as Baal, Osiris, Apollo, etc. And today there are many secret societies and occult groups that look forward to the day when this pagan deity will be resurrected and will return to rule the world once again. This is something that I explained in our latest YouTube video… I know that all of this may sound very strange to you, but many of these secret societies and occult groups take this stuff deadly seriously. And many Christian scholars are convinced that there is a link between the coming of the Antichrist and this ancient pagan deity based on the actual historical figure of Nimrod. So could it be possible that we are laying out a couple of giant welcome mats for this ancient pagan deity by erecting these giant arches in New York and London next month? Could we be opening up gateways and portals that are extremely dangerous and that we simply do not understand? I don’t know about you, but for me the construction of these giant arches is a very, very bad sign… Source |

Ted Cruz has been brazenly violating election law his entire campaign and it actually took Trump’s campaign bring it up for it even to get any coverage. So over at Dan Abrams lawnewz.com, they describe how Cruz has been attending events that are coordinated by his Super PAC and his Super PAC has gone on to record the events and then post ads using that footage. Now for those who don’t know there are few remaining election laws left in the United States but one of those laws and indeed is that you cannot coordinate with your Super PAC. The campaign for a candidate cannot coordinate with his Super PAC. The Super PAC is technically an outside spending group and they’re supposed to have no affiliation and then the Super PAC can raise unlimited funds and spend unlimited funds on the election but the campaign has some laws that remain but he is violating election law here on multiple fronts. Again there’s supposed to be no coordination between the two and they’re creating events and then we have Ted Cruz come and speak at the events, that’s obvious coordination but they use a loophole to get around that simply by saying “Ohh no, we didn’t coordinate it with him, we set it up on our own and then we invited him after the fact and he’s our special guests, so no the event isn’t necessarily about him we set up the event first and then we invited him and now he’s our special guest.” But then the area where there are arguably is no loophole at all is when they recorded they have the exclusive rights to that footage that they recorded from the event and then they make ads out of it. You’re not allowed to do that! So another thing that we’ve seen similar to this is, you have Mitch McConnell you had other Republican politicians and other Democratic politicians they would post a video online with no audio track with it and it would just be you know some goofy stuff it in Mitch McConnell’s case, it was him smiling and turning to the camera, The Daily Show made a mockery of this at the time and the Super PAC would then take that footage which they just happen to upload to the internet without audio and then they would add audio to it and they say “there was no coordination”. The campaign or Mitch McConnell himself just uploaded their own footage with no audio and then later on, the Super PAC would add the audio. Coordination? What do you mean? There’s no coordination here! So the whole point of this story is to show you guys that, the few remaining laws that we have when it comes to elections are a joke, like they’re making a mockery of the few remaining laws that we have and I’m not kidding when I say the conservative justices on the Supreme Court are so immensely stupid that they didn’t see this coming. In fact I want to go ahead and give you a quote from one of the justices. This is just unbelievable! “We now conclude that independent expenditures including those made by corporations do not give rise to corruption or the appearance of corruption.” according to Citizens United. Think about how moronic that is. So outside spending groups whether it’s Super PACs which is the whole point of a Super PAC or they just corporation. So if the corporation is spending a tremendous amount to get a certain politician elected not only is that not corruption, they say that’s not even the appearance of corruption, so if you happen to have the opinion that that’s corruption they go “Oh you’re crazy why are you making links where there are no links?” Obviously you have the corporations and the Super PACs spending money to elect these candidates because they just happen to agree with their position on social issues they’re not trying to get favoritism and you know loopholes in later that help their companies and they’re not trying to get subsidies for example, no that’s got nothing to do with that. Our entire system and the few remaining election laws that the US has, are predicated on a lie, or are predicated on a completely inaccurate and ridiculous understanding of human nature and the way the system works with incentives and now we see the fruits of this. You have Ted Cruz who is already a slimy sleazy classic politician and he’s like “Ohh well there seems to be no punishment anyway for violating election law so even when there are election laws, the Super PAC needs to be separate from the campaign and from me, how about they will host events, I will show up, they will record it and have exclusive rights to that footage, they will put it online and make ads out of it.” You’re not allowed to do that! This should totally demolish in everybody’s mind that this ridiculous idea that indeed there’s a separation between the Super PAC and the campaign, there’s none! There’s absolutely coordination between Super PACs and campaigns and the idea that the spending has no influence on the candidates, you would have to be incredibly ignorant or naive or really just stupid in order to believe that. You can see in the legislation, its not just our opinion, its not just conjecture, look at the things they propose. It’s not a coincidence that ExxonMobil spends a tremendous amount of money every year in lobbying, specifically for Republicans but even for some Democrats and then lo and behold they happen to get a $4 Billion subsidy corporate welfare check every year, under the guise of “They needed the money for research and development.” Right! One of the most profitable corporations on the planet needs incentive to continue to be one of the most profitable corporations on the planet! No! The incentive is the money they make anyway! Don’t be naive, don’t be dumb, its unbelievable the Supreme Court ruled this way in Citizens United, its unbelievable they ruled that way going back to the cases in the 1980’s which really started this trend of getting the virus and the cancer of money in politics and terrible terrible people like Ted Cruz and all the other politicians are going to take advantage of the system because we’ve got news for you, guys like that would have no chance of winning if there wasn’t for the fact that corporate money props them up. |
