so-called “homosexual propaganda” violate international standards on
freedom of expression and discriminate against lesbian, gay, bisexual,
trans, and intersex (LGBTI) people. The report, “Traditional values? Attempts to Censor Sexuality”, assesses where countries have adopted or are considering adopting bans of this kind.

My life with Hugo Chavez
I’m Venezuelan, I’m 28 years old and I’ve lived half of my life under
Hugo’s rule. The name of our country was changed (from just Venezuela,
to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela), so was our flag (Hugo wanted
to add more stars) and our currency (from “Bolivares” to “Bolivares
Fuertes”), for no other purpose than pleasing Hugo.
