Freedom of expression and civic space in Kenya

ARTICLE 19 East Africa launched a Thunderclap to stand up for freedom of expression in Kenya. Over 100 people sent messages on social media in support of a petition calling on the Kenyan President and parliament to reject legislation that will clamp down on media freedom and reduce civic and democratic space. Read about our Thunderclap here and sign the petition here.
