Nikos Filis, parliamentary spokesman of Greece’s Syriza Party.
The Greek government says the repayment of its debt to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) scheduled for early next month will not be possible unless a deal is reached between Athens and its international creditors for unblocking a bailout fund.
The parliamentary spokesman for Greece’s ruling Syriza Party said Wednesday that the government simply cannot repay a 303-million-euro loan to the IMF on June 5 as its priority would be to pay salaries, pensions and running costs.
“No country can repay its debts with only the money from its budget,” Nikos Filis told Ant1 television, adding, “We don’t have it to repay it, and it’s a subject of the discussions.”
Since it took office in January, the new government in Athens has tried to convince its international lenders, namely IMF, other eurozone countries and the European Central Bank, about the effectiveness of series of reforms it has carried out in the country’s economy.
Those reforms are in fact a precondition for the disbursement of 7.2 billion euros ($8 billion), the sum which remains of the country’s bailout program. Athens urgently needs the money to finance itself and avoid a large-looming default. However, the creditors insist more reform is needed to ensure the economy runs smoothly.
Greece, however, has struggled to repay parts of its debt by cutting the reserve funds from some state-run enterprises, including schools, cultural centers and embassies abroad. On Monday, Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis expressed hope that the much-anticipated deal may come in as soon as one week.
“Now is the hour of truth,” Filis said, adding that if the two sides do not reach an agreement by June 5, there will be no payment to IMF.

Would require Russia to take responsive measures to provide for its own security.
Ukrainian National Security Service Secretary Oleksander Turchynov said that Kiev may consider placing missile defense systems in its territory after consultations, APA reports quoting RIA Novosti.
“If this means that Ukraine plans to deploy elements of US missile defense systems on its territory, then, obviously, this could be understood as being completely negative because it would pose a threat to the Russian Federation,” Peskov told journalists.
He said that if Ukraine made the step, then Russia would be forced to respond.
“If US missile defense systems are deployed in Ukraine, that would require Russia to take responsive measures to provide for its own security.”

Taylor Swift has been brainwashed by radical feminists, leading her to make some biblically retarded comments.
In an interview with Maxim magazine, the pop star claims that, “Misogyny is ingrained in people from the time they are born.”
That would be why at the very start of her career, she was the youngest ever song writer hired by Sony. Yes the patriarchy really held her back! That’s exactly why she is worth $64 million, more than double the value of Kanye West.
That’s why there are 5 women in the Top 10 most valued celebrities on the planet according to Forbes. That’s why Beyonce, the most famous feminist ever is the world’s most powerful celebrity, at number 1.
If the patriarchy really is trying to hold back women in the entertainment industry, it’s doing a terrible job. She has really been enchained and shackled by the evil white patriarchy.

Suspect Daron Wint, 34, whose DNA was on a Domino’s pizza crust at the scene.
The man suspected of torturing and killing a wealthy CEO, his wife, their son and their housekeeper has been identified after his DNA was found on a pizza crust at the scene of the murders.
Authorities named the suspect as Daron Dylon Wint, 34, who has previously been charged with sexual assault, theft and weapon possession, and are now trying to find him.
The Maryland man is wanted in the murders of Savvas Savopoulos, 46, his wife Amy, 47, their 10-year-old son Philip and their housekeeper, Veralicia Figueroa, 57, who were found dead inside the $4.5 million D.C. mansion after it was set alight last Thursday.
Detectives do not know where Wint is and it is not clear whether he was connected to the family.
‘He’s very hostile,’ an unidentified family member told ABC News of the suspect. ‘He’s arrogant. He doesn’t listen.’
Police have appealed to the public for help finding Wint, who is from Lanham, Maryland, which is about 15 miles from the Savopouloses’ home. He is described as a black male, approximately 5’7″ tall and weighing about 155 pounds.
An arrest warrant, issued by DC Superior Court, charges him with murder one while armed. Police are offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to his arrest and conviction.
Maryland court records show a person with his name was convicted in 2009 of second-degree assault and sentenced to 30 days in jail.
He was also charged with burglary in 2010 and pleaded guilty to malicious destruction of property, and a protective order also was taken out against him that year, the records show.
Over the years, he has gone by the names Daron, Darron, Davon.
According to his Facebook page, he graduated from Parkdale High School in Riverdale, Maryland in 1996. He then graduated Prince George’s Community College in 2002 and is now ‘self-employed’.
The development comes after police discovered the killer ordered two pizzas from a local Domino’s as the family was tortured inside their mansion.
Members of staff at the Wisconsin Avenue branch two miles away confirmed to Daily Mail Online that they took the order on Wednesday evening and dispatched the food.
Murdered: Savvas Savopoulos, 46, and his 47-year-old wife Amy were found dead after their Washington DC home was set abaze. Their 10-year-old son and housekeeper were also found murdered inside.
Slain: Philip Savopoulos, 10, was also found dead.
The pizzas were delivered to the home at 9pm and left at the front door, Fox5 reported. The deliveryman said cash was left for him outside the door and he spoke to no one.
Around 7am the next morning, Savopoulos made a number of calls, including to his bank and his accountant, ABC News reported.
Then later that morning, an assistant for Savopoulos – who was the CEO of American Iron Works, Inc. – visited the home before the blaze.
The assistant, who has not been named, dropped off a $40,000 package to his boss’ home as the family members were inside, law enforcement officials told the Washington Post.
The killers knew that the money was due to be delivered to the house last Thursday, Fox5 reported.
Nelitza Gutierrez, another housekeeper working for the family, said Mr Savopoulos needed the cash for one of his other business ventures, the opening of a martial arts center in Chantilly, Virginia.
It is not known if the assistant was aware of what the package contained and records show he was in Virginia when the blaze was started, the Post reported.
By the time firefighters arrived at the house on Thursday afternoon, the package and the couple’s blue Porsche had vanished. The car was found in a Maryland parking lot later that afternoon.
Housekeeper Veralicia Figueroa, 57 was also found dead.
The four bodies were discovered on the second floor of the house. At least three had suffered blunt force trauma before the blaze, police have said, and the fire is being treated as an arson.
Investigators found no signs of forced entry and believe the suspects were able to gain access to the home on Wednesday and stayed overnight as they knew how the family ‘lived their day-to-day lives’.
FOX 5 reported that the suspects tortured at least three of the hostages – including 10-year-old go-karting fanatic, Philip.
The station, quoting sources familiar with the scene, said the adults were tied to chairs and had been doused in gasoline while the little boy was found in bed. He had been burned beyond recognition and had lacerations to his body.
Footage from the area police released on Saturday night revealed a man dressed in a dark hooded top moving quickly behind a building.
Police have not yet said whether they think this is person is Wint. They believe the person in the footage could have taken the Porsche belonging to the family.
Records show friends and relatives tried to reach the victims on Thursday before they were found dead, according to the Washington Post.
Both Savopouloses sent text messages and voicemails to their second housekeeper telling her not to come to their home to clean on Thursday, which had been her normal routine.
Nelitza Gutierrez, who had worked for the family for 20 years, told the Post the series of messages left her thinking something was amiss with her employers.
She told police that Savvas left a message saying Figueroa was staying overnight to help because his wife was sick and his son had suffered a concussion. He asked Gutierrez to make sure Figueroa’s family knew not to expect her home that evening.
Gutierrez said she had never known Figueroa to stay overnight.
‘Never, never did she stay over,’ Gutierrez said.
Gutierrez said she called Amy after hearing the message ‘to see if she was OK, but she never answered’.
A $25,000 reward has been offered in the brutal quadruple slaying, which unfolded in one of the city’s wealthiest – and safest – neighborhoods.
The Savopoulos family had lived in the sprawling property on the 3200 block of Woodland Drive since 2002.
They also have a $240,000 two-bedroom condo in St Croix in the Virgin Islands.
Ten-year-old Philip was enrolled at $40,000-a-year St Albans School, a prestigious college-preparatory school on Embassy Row next to the Washington National Cathedral, which is visible from his family’s home.
The family’s two older daughters were not at home at the time of the fire, as they both attend elite boarding schools. Abigail, 19, is a senior at the elite Mercersburg Academy in Pennsylvania. Katerina, 16, is a junior at Peddie School in Highstown, New Jersey.
Anyone with information about the case is asked to all police at (202) 727-9099. Anonymous information may be submitted to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411.

The Australian prime minister says his government will not accept boats carrying migrants, many of whom are Myanmar’s persecuted Rohingya Muslims who flee violence in their own country, saying it would worsen the problem and “encourage people to get on boats.”
“If we do the slightest thing to encourage people to get on the boats, this problem will get worse, not better,” Tony Abbott said Thursday.
Abbott said his country will do all it can to end people-smuggling, which he said was key to stopping the migrant boats.
Canberra “will do absolutely nothing that gives any encouragement to anyone to think that they can get on a boat, that they can work with people-smugglers to start a new life”, he said.
Abbot, whose government employs tough measures to stop boat people, also said it was important to make it crystal clear that those who board “leaky boats” should not think that they were getting a ticket to a “Western country.”
“If you want a better life, you need to come through the front door,” he said.
Abbott’s conservative government follows a policy that does not make public details about operations to turn back vessels carrying asylum-seekers. In a rare report in January, Australia, however, disclosed that 15 boats carrying 429 asylum seekers had been returned since the start of the turn-back operations in September 2013.
Meanwhile, Malaysian Foreign Minister Anifah Aman and his Indonesian counterpart Retno Marsudia announced at a joint press briefing on Wednesday that the two countries would offer shelter to thousands of migrants, including Rohingya Muslims, adrift at sea on rickety boats.
The Muslim two foreign ministers earlier met with Thai Foreign Minister Tanasak Patimapragorn in the Malaysian capital to discuss the influx of migrants. Thailand, however, refrained from participating in the offer, with Tanasak saying he must check with his government first.
The non-Muslim Thai government has been criticized for pushing boatloads of Rohingya Muslims entering Thai waters back out to sea, and for holding migrants in overcrowded facilities.
Over the past 10 days, nearly 3,000 migrants have swum to shore or been rescued off Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand. Malaysia’s intelligence estimates put the number of migrants still stranded at sea at about 7,000 people.
The Rohingya Muslim minority group has witnessed attacks by extremist Buddhists in Myanmar. The violence has forced nearly 100,000 of them to flee the country.
According to the United Nations, the Rohingya Muslims of Myanmar are one of the most persecuted minorities in the world. They have faced torture, neglect and repression since Myanmar’s independence in 1948. Rohingya refugees mostly flee to neighboring countries such as Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia.

California Gov. Jerry Brown declared a state of emergency over Tuesday’s oil spill off the Santa Barbara County coast. It follows news that up to 105,000 gallons of oil leaked out from the ruptured pipeline.
“This emergency proclamation cuts red tape and helps the state quickly mobilize all available resources,” said Governor Brown in a statement. “We will do everything necessary to protect California’s coastline.”
Brown’s office added that six boom boats, three 65-foot collection vessels and hand crews coordinating with the state as clean-up efforts continue. California state oil spill, wildlife and emergency officials are also working to alleviate the situation.
Originally, US Coast Guard officials estimated that the approximately 21,000 gallons of oil had spilled out of a pipeline operated by Plains All American Pipeline, though this calculation is being investigated. The type of oil was later identified as crude, and officials said the spill had stretched out to approximately nine miles across Santa Barbara County’s Refugio Beach.
The company stated to AP that the 105,000 gallon estimate was a “worst-case scenario”and that it does not know exactly how much oil actually seeped into the ocean. The pipeline itself is onshore, but oil traveled down a storm drain before hitting the Pacific Ocean.
Refugio Beach was closed after the oil spill occurred, as was neighboring El Capitan State Beach.
According to the Los Angeles Times, this particular pipeline was constructed in 1991 and had never leaked before this week, company officials said. It is capable of carrying roughly 150,000 barrels every day.
Darren Palmer of Plans All American Pipeline told the newspaper that the company conducted an integrity check on the pipeline two weeks ago but had yet to learn the results.
So far, there has been no official reports of wildlife being harmed by the spill, but officials said it could affect the environment since oil did seep into the water.
Local fisheries that have been affected by the spill have also been shut down for the time being, Brown’s office stated.
Linda Krop of the Environmental Defense Center told the LA Times that the Santa Barbara Channel is “one of the most biologically rich places on the planet” and that multiple species of animals could be affected, including migrating whales and seabirds.

A shocking confrontation filmed on the streets of New York highlights the racial animosity that continues to plague America in the aftermath of last year’s Ferguson riots and the rise of the #BlackLivesMatter movement.
The footage was filmed by US Army veteran Joey Boots, a frequent guest on the Howard Stern Show.
The incident began when a member of the Five-Percent Nation, a militant offshoot of the Nation of Islam, began harassing a group of white hipsters in Union Square.
An older black man begins an argument with the group before threatening to “turn this motherfucker upside (down).”
“Where’s your man at? I’ll get him first. Straight up, I don’t give a fuck,” yells the man, adding, “I’m a thug, I’m from Brooklyn,” before referring to himself as the “King.”
One of the hipsters then jumps towards “King” and other members of the Five-Percent Nation, one of whom is wearing a “fuck the police” sweater, quickly move in to disperse the confrontation.
“You’re a dead man – I promise you,” yells “King” towards the man who confronted him.
However, the tone of the confrontation then begins to turn even more sinister as another member of the Five-Percent Nation states, “That’s why I stopped him, because this motherfu*ker should be bowing to him.”
“Bowing?….Did this guy just say racist sh*t here….he should be bowing to him because he’s black?” asks the man filming the incident.
“And just so ya’ll know, all of ya’ll time is coming, you’re all gonna die,” says the Five-Percent Nation thug.
“What do you mean ya’ll,” asks the cameraman.
“All of you people, and all of your derivatives, all of the people who love you,” responds the racist communist black thug.
“You talking about white people?,” asks the cameraman.
“Yeah,” responds the thug.
The argument continues before the thug asserts, “by the end of this year you’ll be dead.”
“Is that a death threat, black man?” asks the cameraman.
“It’s already happening,” responds the thug.
One of the group that was threatened, himself black, then points out the threat also applied to him because his mother is white.
The cameraman’s charge that the thug is a “racist piece of shit” for calling for the mass genocide of white people would be disputed by social justice warriors and prominent black figures, who argue that it is impossible for black people or ethnic minorities to be racist.
Violent and racist rhetoric from elements of the #BlackLivesMatter movement in the aftermath of Ferguson, Missouri has become a common theme, but it is routinely downplayed or ignored by the mass media.
Instead on focusing on police brutality, the movement has been steered to obsess on white guilt, a form of cultural marxism that absolves the state of blame and merely serves to create polarization and division between the people.
