France launches Contact tactical radio programme
France has launched the first phase of its strategic Contact tactical radio programme, aimed to enhance the security and tactical combat capabilities of its dismounted infantry and armoured vehicles. US Army's 2nd HBCT receives upgraded vehicles The US Army's 2nd Heavy Brigade Combat Team (HBCT) has taken delivery of 200 upgraded M1A2 SEP V2 Abrams Tanks and M2A3 Bradley Fighting Vehicles, to provide soldiers with increased situational awareness and superior optics compared to earlier variants. Supacat selected for ADF Special Operations vehicle programme Supacat has been selected by the Australian Defence Material Organisation (DMO) as the preferred bidder for the Special Operations Vehicle element of the Project Definition and Evaluation (PD&E) phase of the JP2097 Ph 1B (REDFIN) programme.
